Spending is way too high. Whoever the winner is, he will have to bring it down at least to 20% of GDP(from 25%). They just need to reduce spending growth as revenues will eventually catch up.

Revenues won't catch up because you tax the fuck out of people, no one willl be spending money because eveyone is trying to send their kids to school, or like me, for example, rent keeps going up and my money goes to that or local country taxes. Not a fan of over taxing the wealthy, not at all. I think a flat rate is fine, in fact I think it works best. Everyone is equal in that sense. You don't punish sucess either.

Not a fan of over taxing the wealthy, not at all. I think a flat rate is fine, in fact I think it works best. Everyone is equal in that sense. You don't punish sucess either.

A flat rate is good as long as the cut-off doesn't hurt those not so well off. The problem is the well off will always find a way to legally avoid tax no matter what you do so you end up only taxing the middle and lower classes.
