Which players, what formation?
Obviously no classic Juve team can be without Alex or Platini, but what about the rest?

I don't know about you guys, but I play a lot of Pro evolution and i thought it would be fun to create a classic Juve team for the game.

Post your teams :toast:

When we decide to do "Classics", my team looks like:

......................................1-Buffon...............................

..23-Grygera...........6-Scirea.........4-Kovac...........7-Salihamidzic..

.......................................26-Davids.........................................

...........20-Platini.............21-Zidane...............11-Nedved...........

........................10-Del Piero..............18-Baggio................

It's just a video game man :D... there aren't any principes or anything, just a team of Juve players of my type, let's say ;)

Normally I'd have Di Livio as RB, Canna and Zambro in that team, but...

Come on man, Salihamdizic hasn't even arrived to Delle Alpi yet. He can by no standard be considered a Juve classic player

    Buffon
    Ferrara Scirea Gentile Zambrotta
    Causio Platini Zidane Nedved
    Del Piero Charles

Would've liked to include Baggio of course, but I think a larger striker would fit better with Del Piero.

You will get beaten up badly because there's no one to do the defensive work. Ale has to be put into the attack and we could bench Baggio (La Viola :() and put Conte in :eyebrows: .

    Del Piero - Rossi

    Conté - Deschamps - Platini/Zidane - Di Livio

    Zambrotta - Scirea - Montero - Ferrara

    Zoff/Gigi

(not much players from the really old days, but doesn't know them well either)

Yeah I know. An impossible dream...

    Boniek Rossi
    Nedved Tardelli Zidane Platini
    Zambrotta Scirea Cannavaro Ferrara
    Zoff

In total disregard of the classic aspect. :]
That's actually very good, though i think I'd play Del Piero on the left instead of Nedved.

Ok, all time classic Juve XI; here's my two cents.

GK. BUFFON - Just has to be, he's the greatest of all times, faster, fitter & better than Zoff.
RB. ZAMBROTTA - Think his ability to play both sides means he edges Cabrini.
CB. SCIREA - The definition of world class. My captain, RIP Capitano
CB. GENTILE - But only just over the Neopolitan duo of Canna & Ferrara
LB. FORTUNATO - Taken from us far too soon, God rest his soul.
CM TARDELLI - 5 scudetti & a European Cup, a world champion, say no more, a born winner
CM. PLATINI - 3 time Balon d'or & capocannoniere, from midfield, Zizou can only dream
CM CONTE - Every team needs someone to do their dirty work, but only just over Deschamps
    A. VIALLI - Our captain when we lifted the European Cup for the 2nd time
    A. CHARLES - Rivaled only by Platini & Maradona as Serie A's greatest import, some company!
    A. DEL PIERO - How could you leave out Ale? Our leading scorer, a true hero.
