What do you think, with the current and possible even higher inflation in the UK. Will leaving the EU backfire?
Leaving the EU is only a side issue at the moment, it has made some things more difficult and fewer not so much, in the current economic crisis and political situation. We've basically just drifted along for a few months now.

The problem is that without a general election the Tories can choose who they want, regardless of how poor they are. She's a weak choice but best of a bad bunch, as Rishi Sunak is a bit of a snake and very far removed from the common man.

She's probably gone now. RIP.

Good timing for Liz Truss and her gang. Everyone will be talking about the Queen's passing, completely forgetting about Truss's shitty energy bills cap and lack of windfall tax.

Dis gon' cost taxpayers around £170bn (about 4 times the education budget). Meanwhile, energy companies are expected to make almost that same amount but they're not being asked to contribute a penny of it.

It's the very definition of "privatise the profits and socialise the losses".
