I was listening to a radio program yesterday which featured a man named Godfrey Bloom, and he was discussing Nigel Farage and the beliefs of the UK Independence party. Must say, their economic policies seem far more sound than anything I've heard from the rest of the parties.

You mean their desire to get out of the EU?

They got no seats at all and a viewed as a bit of joke by most of the country.

Id say hes got that about right.

They are a party based on race politics and have built up the rest of their policies to suit their core beliefs.

Maybe you just dont realise that you are racist.

Not necessarily that fact, but the EU is dying anyway. Not sure why one would want to be a part of union whose constituents all need to be bailed out, unless you want to be bailed out yourself.

    What an ignorant comment.
Q: Why are you against mixed-raced relationships?

A: We are against mixed-raced relationships because we believe that all species and races of life on this planet are beautiful and must be preserved. When whites take partners from other ethnic groups, a white family line that stretches back into deep pre-history is destroyed. And, of course, the same is true of the non-white side. We want generations that spring from us to be the same as us, look like us, and be moved by the same things as us. We feel that to preserve the rich tapestry of mankind, we must preserve ethnic differences, not 'mish-mash’ them together.

Please explain how that is not racist and is not very similar, though worded differently, to what went on in Nazi Germany.

In defence of the BNP candidate, I would have reacted in the same way if someone spat in my face.

In the broadest sense, I think the EU is a good thing.

However, there is no doubt that it is very inefficient as an organisation.

Well, I'm not surprised the public considers those folks somewhat of a joke. After all, they voted in a guy who made one of the worst trading errors in history, selling basically half of Britain's wealth on the cheap. There's all this talk of rogue traders at certain financial institutions, yet one of the worst of all got a promotion in government.

    It's unbelievable.

Didn't they get into trouble for not allowing "non-caucasian" members?

Yep. The BNP are founded on racism, and draw a certain amount of support from the kind of people who view immigrants as a faceless hoard of thieves.

Hilariously, their official position on the Irish is that we're good old whities. What's the world coming to, eh? Even racists ain't what they used to be.

    Oh I agree.

I like Farage, especially with how he deals with Eurocrats in his MEP seat, he is a very good speaker and it seems he can also survive plane crashes with a couple of broken ribs. I just don't agree with their general policy.

"I just hope the plane doesn't crash" (he actually said that)

    Extremely lucky buggers.

Farage is just a posh idiot as far as I'm concerned.

The the googly eyes and the shape of his mouth make me think of Toad of Toad Hall whenever I see him. :D
