What? All those players deserve it imo! They were the best at what they do!
not Shevchenko please!

I didn't see Makaay's goal... but i'm sure Birindelli's better.
Thruam was the best defender

Forza Biri!
Forza Thuram!

The rest is debatable, but you have to be kidding about this?!? I know you're his fan, but still ... he didn't show all that much in CL this season.

Makaay's goal was absolutely brilliant and I honestly think it was better than Birindelli but only just as Biri's goal was stunning as well!

Neither did most of the other nominees imo. At least Shevchenko created a lot of good scoring chances for Inzaghi and other teammates as well, next to the couple of goals he scored himself.

Can't say that about Van Nistelrooy or Crespo who just spent the entire season on the goal-line.

Van Nistelrooy didn't wait the entire season on the goal-line  Sheva's 5 or 6 goals can hardly measure with RVN's 14!

P.S. I haven't voted for RVN.

Then why the hell are you praising him like that? :D

Like I said - it's not just about the goals. Fact is that Shevchenko has been more of a team player this season than the goal-getters in that nomination list!

I'm praising him because you made such a big deal of not voting for a Juve player and voting for people who really deserve it :p

I voted for Sheva's team-mate ;)

be a loyal fan :fero:

how could you vote for Sheva??

Makaay's goal was absolutely brilliant and I honestly think it was better than Birindelli but only just as Biri's goal was stunning as well!
but Biri is a juve player. it gives him a little advantage

What is with you and loyalty? Whatever happened to realism and objectiveness?!

Hey, don't get me wrong: I love the kid and he scored A LOT of goals this season but to say he's the best forward of Europe goes a bit far imo :undecide:

YOU'r talking about realism? Shevchenko is not even close to the best forward.
you think Chivu was better than Thuram?

ps. I prefer loyalty over objectiveness
