Whatever, if you ask my personal bias he has been the worlds best player for the last five years.
hey no need to get grouchy!

I've seen recently the Man U game, the Parma game and the Inter game where Zambrotta has been involved. And he has been nowhere near our best player in all three games.

Well that's possible, I've been in France for two weeks so I didn't see the United and Inter games. But I think he played good in the Parma game except for the miss at the goal.

he was Ok against parma yes, but what I'm saying is that I don't agree that he has been our best player recently, I'm not having a dig at him (this time)

Yes thats true the rules do say so but most referees do not give red cards for that and besides it was a genuine attempt to win the ball
I would really like to see those rules upheld, send them off if they're unable to come up with anything else. Needless to say, it would be nice for all rules to be applied in the same manner to all teams.

a dig?

Today Zambrotta was our best player, he was our best player against Empoli(1-0). HE has played great in several other games too.
Of course I am biased in this matter, if I had been a Nedved fan I would have said he was our best player.

totally agree ,,, he is great , he dosen't complain , he gives his all , u can use him everywhere ( why don't lippi try him as a goalie i think he will be good :D ), his work rate , tackles , his crosses are improving , he is the best since winter break after nedved for sure

Yes, most referees wouldn't even book him. But we would be really screwed if the ref is thinking what other refs would do instead of following the rules.

I doesn't matter if it was a genuine attempt to win the ball. He clipped him from behind, and the rules says he's gotta go then.

Yeah, Zambro played very well as a left back winger.
Even Buffon was very exited with his performance, he helped Buffon a lot in defence :)

It was an intersting match, maybe one of the best match I've seen this season.
Both teams played attacking football...very attractive!:thumb:
They both have shown the quality of football.
I must say that Udinese defence was very tough even they played with 10 men (after Pinzi's sent off), especially Sensini as a centerback....what a save he did there!
I think he deserved man of the match even his team lost.
But Lippi decision to substitute Davids with Salas and Zalayeta with Trez was right, we had 3 strikers in front!
Thanks to Trez only goal.....Awesome!:thumb: Good cross from Zambro and good finishing by Trez!
Three points for Juve!:star:

i'm surprised with the amount of quality udinese have....manfredini,jancker etc.

trez will have to thank zambro for the superb cross though...and clinical finishing too from trezegol:thumb:

left it a little late though;)scared me there...

Trez scored a sublime goal indeed as Denco put it and I did see it on Domenica Sportivo. Thuram was being interviewed. A pity I could understand much. There were countless replays on Iuliano's tackle and frankly it showed that there was minimum contact and the Udine forward lost his balance and fell but Buffon would have gotten that ball anyway. There was also a discussion about Zamby and the number of positions he played in the match. Seemed impressive especially the assist to Trez and some crucial interventions at the back.
