He missed a sitter?
Yes, with the goal empty.

Shucks. Oh well, hopefully he can shake it off.

Shame he isn't a mentally strong player. Something like that could stick with him for a while.
Looks like it. Though he should shake it off, he has had a really good season thus far with Everton and has been one of their best players. One bad game and one sitter doesn't change that.

Woah you guys really think Charlie Davies' rehabilitation will be complete in 99 days? It's a close call considering fitness but it's so unfortunate he was playing well for Sochaux.

Courtesy of another reckless, yet well intentioned, tackle.

Nigel de Jong, Stuart Holden thanks you for ending his hopes of going to the World Cup and playing in Europe.

I wouldn't count Charlie out, the fact that he's running at this point (and some light training apparently) has completely destroyed all previous medical diagnosis regarding his comeback.

I hope De Jong gets stabbed to death outside his local mini-mart.

And now I also wish the worst for Holland in South Africa. Hopefully they will crash out in the group stages.

I can arrange it, firebomb onto the pitch perhaps?
I can't stand players like deJong and Shawcross. Make ridiculously stupid challenges, then they're like "I feel bad, guess it's ok. Plus I was going for the ball... Engaland, Engaland, Engala-and" .

    Nah. It's past saving.

Stuart came over here when he was 8, much like Freddy Adu. Most of their footballing knowledge came from this country.
He was 10 when he moved.

I've no issue with him playing for America.

He grew up there and it's not like there is any suggestion Scotland wanted him, since he didn't feature at any of the younger teams.

To get back on topic. Everton want to keep Landy-Cakes for longer than his 10 week loan, on a permanent basis if possible. Negotiations with LA Galaxy are going on as I type.
