It's just really difficult going down to those nations as they always have a great atmosphere of hate against us. Perhaps how the stadium is built has some effect as well. And it's not like Costa Rica can't play football...

This is infact the key, you see, the lockerooms are located just downstares the main stands, this is where our local supporters are located, so when they start singing and jumping the hole lookerrom begins to shake, and it looks like you are in a earthquake... I been there alot of times and its reeeeeally scary.

Also the stands are very close to the field so when you are in the field is very intimidating.

Like I said, its going to be a great game, US has the better team surely but we have our tricks :D

I like it, but I think he'll Keep Jozy on the bench and save him for later if we need a goal to snatch a point.
But that's the thing, he always does that. Ching fucks up the pitch, then he brings in Jozy late in the game, and within the 20 or so minutes he's on he scores.

Fielding Ching over Jozy is probably the dumbest thing I've seen since Sampson was in charge.

Sounds like a pretty crazy place. I hope our coach discusses the tactics before they get to the stadium.

Howard

Wynne - Gooch - Moutblack - BEASLEY NOOO

Mastroeni - Bradley - Torres

Dempsey - ALTIDORE! - Donovan

Chink is out injured. Hooray!

Except for Beasley at the back, pretty good lineup as far as I'm concerned. I love the 4-3-3. Good job, Bob.

We started out playing like a flat Capello Juventus team.

Now we're doing better, but Bradley is at fault for the first goal because of fielding Beasley back there. Beasley wasn't even trying to close people down, so they got through and then by Pablo.
