Great match, great performance, great atmosphere! We played at the high pace we should for part of the match, but slowed it down when we needed to. The side certainly used teamwork to our advantage, making up for lapses in concentration while coming up with some slick moves offensively, totally outclassing Mexico in every department. Even in creativity. Never have I seen such a hapless Mexico with the ball; they looked about five times more clueless than a Juventus team filled with Molinaros and Marchionnis, they were that bad. So credit needs to be given to the midfield in the defensive department, where Bradley made some crucial tackles, along with Kljestan.
Man, just imagine if Altidore would have started. We would have looked even better. But overall, great job by our team tonight.
Howard - Perfect match, one of the better keepers in the world. 8
Heydude - Made some great tackles and attacking forays up the pitch. The dude was fucking crazy out there! 7
Onyewu - Looked shaky at times, which usually occurs, but made some good interventions as well. 6.5
Bocanega Mouthblack - Shaky at times but overall solid. 6.5
Pearce - Good match that consisted of stifling Dos Santos. 6.5
Bradley - Perfect match, amazing match really. Great goals and great tackles. 9
Kljestan - Solid play in all parts of the game. 7
Dempsey - Wasn't his best performance and didn't see enough of the ball. 6
Donovan - Linked up well with Beasley but didn't have the best of matches. 6.5
Beasley - Made some good moves and linked up well, kept Mexican wingers back defensively. 7
Ching - Should not be playing. So what if he holds up the ball well and then loses it? 5
