I'm sure you guys have seen him play plenty of times, but at PSV during his first season he did well enough, he had some nice goals. I have zero knowledge about US soccer, I just wanted to see the state of beasleys international career.

I remember him from his days at psv, he impressed me back then. Haven't seen him play since. All I know is that he signed for rangers.
He had a knee injury that set him back about a whole season. Before that he was fearless and did not hesitate to take an opponent on. Now he's worried about his knee more than getting past his opponent. He wasn't over hyped in his early career as he was very good, I don't think there was a defender in WC 2002 that could keep up with him. Surprising what one moment of bad luck can do to a player.

I saw him at PSV a few times, even against Milan in the CL. He didn't do enough to secure a spot there. In the last World Cup he didn't do anything and I was calling for him to be subbed every single time he touched the ball. That was it for me.

Yeah but remember the Portuguese backline was filled with seniors, Poland was filled with slow-pokes, and Mexico is... Mexico. Germany was able to keep him down though.

Meh, Germany wasn't impressive. We had our best game against them. He drew so many fouls.

I think our best game was against Portugal but we all know who fucked us over in the quarters...
There was a lot of luck in that first game. I think it was the most "Special" since it was so unbelievable. But the Germany game was a true test and we gave it all on the field.
