Surely Arena will be fired at this point. Who do you think would be appointed next in that case?
Everyone needs fired at this point. When your number one goalkeeper is old ass Tim Howard you know you have a problem. We've had this coming for a while, Klinnsman had the right idea with development of stars and playing in the top leagues. Unfortunately things fell apart before he had the time to get it running. The MLS is the biggest problem. Our best players should not be wasting their careers there.

I was just thinking - in this world cup there is no USA and no China. The 2 largest economies in the world representing 1 third of global GDP, and 20% of the population - add India and make that 35% of the world's population.

They will have little interest in the world cup in Russia. Lots of potential lost revenue.

FIFA deliberately makes it super easy for USA to qualifty knowing this, and they still can't make it. How sad.

    USA

And here I was thinking that Australias qualification games were terrible. Shocking that they couldn't get at least 4th place in the Hex.

PS are Honduras any good? I really don't think we'll do well against them in the away leg, looks like a very hostile place to play in.

What? They didn't qualify? How is that even possible.. Easiest group by a mile. We ought to take a spot from CONCACAF and award it to CONMEBOL.

They should all play one qualifier, concacaf and conmebol should merge

We should win every concacaf event with the amount of money we put into the national team. Anything less should be seen as a failure.

That would pretty much mean concacaf would lose all qualifying spots though.
Not all maybe one or two, remember conmebol only got 10 countries
Would be fun to see them US-boys play somewhere in La Paz or Quito at 3000 meters. :D
US usually struggles when playing away but it would be interesting to see them in morales country with the altitude and the anti American sentiment
