And that would drive the price up of a trip to italy for me too. Considering how expensive the airfares are, it wouldn't be worth it to stay for like 1 or 2 weeks so I'd have spend a lot more on accommodation to stay longer. Although I have a lot relatives in Italy (none that I know very much personally lol) that I could probably stay with. Not close family but like sisters and brothers of my nonni and the like.

yeah the accom will probably be the most pricey bit for me. Although I would like it for us to come to a rough estimation on when we would actually meet - a day before the match, after the match, or a day after (unlikely surely everyone will suffer from hangover) because being there from probably 23rd march to 2nd april I might wanna go Florence or Genoa or Nice

my major concern is accommodation. I've been looking around on tripadvisor and the cheap ones are either really shit and even then the shit ones are still pricey. if anyone has a miraculous suggestion to this predicament that will be veerryyy helpful.
ya same here, need some advice and 'acceptable' options.
i stayed at the best western Piedmontese near porta nuova station, not magnificent but clean and decent breakfast service and of course with a best western you kinda know what to expect with the big hotel groups, really helpful staff too, and got contacts if you need help with football tickets.

With it being close to porta nuova station is ideal for getting to the match and to and from the airport at the bus stop as well as being fairly central to the city itself

I'd wash your car anytime you want, Fuds.
Excellent. It's quite dirty at the moment, so right now would be good.

For the people looking for hotels etc: look at websites like Tripadvisor or Booking. If you can't find anything affodable on there, you might as well forget about going.
But looking at what some here would have to pay for plane tickets, finding a hotel surely can't be a problem...
