How can you criticize a player for not playing at top form when he's come off repeated 3-month layoffs and corrective surgery and only gets 20 minutes a time?

Give the guy a break and a second chance. It's not like we've got a plethora of quality centre backs ready to warm the bench.

Tudor to join Trotters
Igor Tudor could be set to join Bolton on a one-year loan deal from Juventus. Tudor has been unhappy at Juventus for some time after being told he is not in Coach Fabio Capello’s plans. After he spent last season on loan at Siena, Juve had been hoping to sell the player valuing him at around £3.5m. But with no-one willing to shell out for the Croatian, the Bianconeri will now settle for a loan deal. "For Tudor I have an agreement with the English club Bolton Wanderers," announced Juve transfer guru Luciano Moggi. "But the player prefers the offer he has from Villarreal. Personally, I believe he will join Bolton." As well as Villarreal, Bolton could face competition from Lazio, Middlesbrough and West Brom.
