I agree! But even before Gio, we kept loaning out our young players, although some of them were by far better than some of the so called "first team" players. We seemed to learn from that. Hopefully!

Dont forget we had world class players at almost every position back then, it was only normal for our youngsters not to cope at such competition.
And talented players like Giovinco dont grow every day, even Moggi would kept him, esp under those circumstances, having such a crippled team.
Didnt we own Giovinco, DC and Marchisio at Moggi's will?
