Our problem is that we have so many new faces, who need to adjust to eachother.
Let's bring in more new faces(who aren't even better) to fix it !
True, and I feel the experienced lads, DP, Nedved, Birindelli and Camo and Trez when they're back will be crucial in helping the new guys to gel together.

I urge you all Juve fans not to expect an instant success here. It's going to be a bumpy road, we'll have to persevere, but I think eventually the team will gain momentum. Afterall from the early signs it's not like they're a hopeless bunch.

Criscito, Grygera, Andrade, Salihamidzic, Tiago, Nocerino, Molinaro, Almiron, Iaquinta.......all these guys are playing together for the first time, so we have to be patient as they're going to be put to the real test when it comes to competitive Serie A action.

The positive I saw tonight (the first half at least) was the creative spirit and attacking play.

Pippo's 2nd half goal, needless today simply killed it for us. Nedved tried his best, but unfortunately was unable to hit the target. Dida also made an awesome save for a splendid shot by Tiago (I think?).

Those two were probably our best chances for a comeback.

Let's bring on Livorno. :strong:

In no way am I saying we will win the league, BUT the league is usually decided by how well you do against the other teams rather than your direct rivals.

I see no reason why we can't beat Milan, once the team have had some time to get used to each other.
Some people here think we can come straight back up and win the league. These people are deluded imo. I expect us to do well but top 4 is a much more realistic goal.

I keep asking myself "what the fuck did I just watch?"

What I saw is a Juve without ideas on offense, who were more than happy to chase Milan around the pitch as they passed around us, and a team that obviously cannot perform simple passes

Our offense rarely tested Dida...bar Tiago's shot at the end of the game. Where were the shots on net ? Where was any accurate passing in Milan's side of the field ? Were our outside mid's wearing slippers, because they couldn't cross the ball for shit !! Its been 3 damn games since we scored a goal...we have problems !!

Defensively, we again made some mistakes in marking that led to goals. Is Criscito the real deal...I dont know. But Molinaro isn't, and Andrade hasn't proven anything yet.

The whole team disappointed me except for Grygera. He should be our starter at RB, IMO

I know the excuse train will ride again with Ranieri as the engineer, but the season starts in 8 days, and we are not ready...hell no !!! The excuses have to end here !!

Our objective is to reach a CL spot, but does anyone here actually believe that our team is better than Lazio or Fiorentina...because that's who will be fighting for the last CL spot

At this point, I believe that even Palermo is better than our team, and a 8th place to 10th place finish is realistic for us

I have zero faith in Ranieri, and even less with this management...and this preseason proves it

well we were missing key players. and milan will always be one step ahead of us in the next few years. we beat roma convincingly and they came second. these players need time and this kind of match is for experperience not to get into cl.

aswell as that, we arent allowed to make a mistake in pre season.
Great point. People really overreact about what happens in pre-season which is when we're trying to work out the problems and get the squad to gel. I don't understand why people expect perfection right off the bat.

I'm not concerned with the score, I am really concerned with the performance, and it hasnt been there (minus the second half with Roma)

obviously we aren't ready , I expect a slow start for juve this season . It's going to take a while before they start playing like a top team > We have the players to get champions league spot , it's only time that worries me .

i agree mate! this is the end of taking things lightly!!! the performances HAVE to start from now on! these games have been enough to give the players enough time to know each other well. ranieri has to sit down and completely fix the problems in the coming week! we cannot rely on Iaquinta, ffs! DP n trez to start a usual and palla and zala for a subs. marchionni and camo need to resume playing ASAP! and we all know what the defence need to do!

well, upfront today we missed the cutting edge finih which i'm sure you would agree with. but thats trez, hes the one who doesnt do the build up but the finishing move, so its likely that there would be less tests, as the player than DP and nedved were looking for wasnt there. our defence, we are missing chiellini a key player for us. camo in the midfield a creative player who gives us width and creativity. in term of play today, i think many would agree with me in saying that we created a lot of chances but just becasue there ws no shot, doesnt mean we didnt ctreate anything.
