Actually our current Juventus is not capable of winning anything
the only great players here are: Buffon,Camoranesi,Nedved,DP and Trez
if you count it you`ll see that we have only 5 players of a winning squad which means we need 6 players to be complete!!!

we have already signed Grygera tough I don`t know how good he is
we have already signed Salihamidzic (I don`t know in what position he is going to play in)
and we have already signed Criscito (I don`t know how good he is too)
so if those 2 are great players (Criscito and Grygera) and if Salihamidzic is good enough and can play in defence and be useful there... then we have to sign 3 more players (4 if Trez leaves and etc...)
if not we still have to sign 6 players...
our current defence looks like shit
our mid is average
our attack is the only thing that is still working (ofcourse our GK Buffon as well...)
Camoranesi is good but is he going to stay?
Nedved is great but how many seasons left in him (we might not replace him next year but we would have to consider it in a few years time...)

Paro and Marchisio are surely not good enough for first team spot
and I doubt Zanetti does too

Face it we have 2 options:
1) sign lots of great players and spend some hard cash which is going to change half of our team and fight for the Scudetto

or...
2) sign 2 or 3 players and hope Inter and Milan have a bad season

Frings is not your traditional holding midfielder, and thats a position that he played in during his time at Bayern. He wasn't also settled that much at Bayern so he couldn't produce his best game.

With Bremen you could see that hes being played in a diamond shape or part of a 3 man midfield.Where he doesnt need to distribute the ball to the midfield.
Hes a hardworking midfielder who has a great shot and could even provide you with the occasional assist here n there.
His qualities were shown during the WC as a world class midfielder, with a big effect as the game he didnt play in(against Italy) the German midfield was unbalanced
:agree: That's absolutely true. He's not the player some think he is. After Micoud's departure he's taken most of his roles, too. He works well in both defense and offense. He's been good in every game for Werder this season other than Diego, who still needs to improve, remember he is still very young.
But Frings won't leave anyway, you can be pretty sure about that. He has made his experiment already in Dortmund and Bayern.

Yes he is, for all those who are thinkin about Quaresma or Ribery, I'd really suggest they watch Bremen games this season. Whether they win or lose, Diego is always playing very well.

I'd consider Ribery for winger with his pace and all, but without a doubt Diego would play a much bigger impact on the team. I think above all of his abilities he's an intellegent player, you wont see him dribbling around a player twice!
Diego's performances are not that consistent. After the great euphory in autumn we can now see a different side of his play which was easy to ignore when everything else was working well. But since the winter break, Diego is not playing better than the others in Werder. He's keeping the ball too long, tries too much on his own. At the moment it would be better for Werder to still have Micoud, who is a real playmaker rather Diego, who is a dribbler and does not take the lead yet. Often he leaves it up to Frings.
But he's young and will improve.

I'm greatly encouraged by the news of Trez. He's had his injury problems and his streaks of not having his shots on target. But he's one of the best finishers in the world, and when he's hot -- he's ferocious.

ItaBomber, Your first team is scary, we would lose every game with ease.

Your second team is better as it has Frings to help defend in midfield.

Trez and Huntelaar together upfront wouldn't work well at all.

yeah but he has done well the past few seasons in both domestically and nationally...also in the CL.

I have never been a real fan of Klose but his performances have been very good and one can't fault them at the moment.

Doubt it, that defense is capable of great things though... next year's Juve:

buffon

grygera(Biri)......FreeCB(Boumsong)......Kovac(Criscito)......chiellini(Balza)

Salih(Camo???).........Zanetti(Paro).....New DM(Marchisio).....Neddy/Marchio

Trezeqoal or Klose(Zala or an Iaquinta like) DP(Palla,Boji might leave)

We still wont be able to beat Milan or Inter with that team,

Klose is a good player!
I see him every weekend in the ,,Bundesliga"!

He run much for his teammates and make much assists like Del Piero and score often!

i think that is the only fault with Trez. he scores goals, but he doesnt assist, when he isnt in the game, he really disappears.

Klose can score goals, he assists...he runs a lot, works harder...i wouldnt mind seeing a player like that at juve again.

Buffon

Grygera---Barzagli---Heinze---Chiellini

Marchionni---Zanetti---??????---Nedved

Del Piero---Trezeguet

Don't think Paro is ready to be first choice yet. Hopefully sign Sissoko or an equivalent and have Paro and Tachinardi as the back ups.
