According to the German newspaper "Die Welt" Werder Bremen is preparing an increase of Klose's salary. They are willing to spend on him 4 Mio € per year plus a handsel for extending his contract with them, which is said to be 4 Mio € worth, too.

Maradona called Trez to go play for Boca Juniors :D
Trez says he didn't think till now about such possibility, but he also says it will be hard to reject Maradona.

So, do those guys in Boca have more quality players or they all went to Madrid ?:p

If we have to sell him or include him in swap deal, what's better place than South America ?
But i find it hard to believe he'll go there atm. Maybe at 32-33, but not now !

Miroslav Klose has confirmed that he could move to Serie A if he leaves Werder Bremen at the end of the season.

The German striker is only contracted to his current outfit until 2008, a fact which has led to doubts over his future.

Although Bayern Munich are said to be interested in netting his services, the World Cup star maintains Werder remain his only Bundesliga option.

“Werder Bremen are currently my priority, but if I leave then there are only five clubs who have any hope of signing me,” he was quoted as saying.

“I’m ready to make a move abroad to play my football in Spain, England or Italy.”

Klose, who was born in Poland, has been heavily associated with a switch to Juventus during the summer.

The Turin giants see him as an ideal recruit should David Trezeguet, whose deal with the Old Lady also runs out in 2008, quits the Bianconeri.

Spanish giants and Champions League holders Barcelona have also been strongly paired with the attacker.

No, I don't think we are either. If you consider all the advantages the current top European teams have over Juve, ( money, European Cups, sponsors, etc) , then you have to realize that it will be very hard for us to sign top-class players. So, please guys, do not get your hopes up...At least, that's my opinion.

Klose is the far better player in comparison to trez.

As a certain Cruyff comented on Inzaghi's lack of footballing ability, im sure he would put trez in the same bracket....someone at the right place at the right time.

Klose has a great all round game, we all comment on his aerial prowess and finishing, but during the world cup he played good football, making clever runs, linking up play and generally being a good footballer, something strikers often lack.

If we had Klose up front with Dp, we would have much more entertaining football, and many more goals imho.

This is not to say trez is shit, far from it, but Klose is the better footballer....trez is simply the better goalscorer.

i wouldnt even compliment terz saying hes the better goalscorer, hes certainly a good finisher as is klose but i believe klose has the adventage in terms of goal scoring at this stage in his career and in the future. I am not concerned about the past and treze's record with us, his season so far has been awful and he hasnt scored half as many as he should have, he looks completely off colour and seems to have lost his motivation as a juve player, if klose is willing to come and hes a decent price then we should sell trezeguet and thank him for all his work and welcome klose with open arms.
