I am sorry, I did not mean to be rude. All I wanted to say is that I do not think Juve will ever get as big as they used to be. Also, I am not saying Werder will ever get as big. I hope so but they might as well become an average Bundesliga club again - I do not know.

What I really meant was that I think Werder is closer to getting to the top than Juve is. If this succes continues, Werder will get bigger sponsors, etc. and if that happens they have a real chance of continuing their success. Juve on the other hand has more fans, a bigger history, etc. but the same goes for Schalke or Hamburg in the Bundesliga and they are no where near Bremen is.
I do not think Juve will have it easy. Your "oh so" precious players you have atm are getting old and it will be hard for you to get real international stars in good age. What happens if Juve will not play in the Champions League for the next four or five years? I think it is very possible.
how could this not be rude??especially that this is a juve forum
btw, buffon is worth more than all of werder's players:eyebrows:

:notlisten Please don't say such things...Let's stay optimistic and hope we will reign again about the league with the missing leader. We're just in Serie B on vacation (we all the know the it's a short form for Serie Binter). We will return with new energy and our promising youngsters who will be the core of the Squadra Azzurra 2010. :toast:

yesterday we saw once again how Klose, when he got the ball, went all the way himself and tryed to finish. he really doesnt seem as a good supporting player and thats something what i dont like about him, cause his not physically very strong and is bound to loose 70% of the fights between him and a defender.

Dream on.

Sponsorship are largely driven by popularity of teams rather than its success. Success due matter but they are only part of the story. Bremen will never be as popular club as Juve will be on a global stage.

What makes you think Juve is just about old players? Don't you realize just about half of Italian U-23, 21, 19 are made of players directly or indirectly owned by Juve? Last time I checked Italia happens to be the Championi Del Mundo.

Don't get too cocky you know. By the time you know it, Shalke or Hamburg might just be better than Bremen is. Any superiority advantage sustained by superior management is difficult to sustain because (1) Shalke and Hamburg will get rid of their incompetent management team (2) they will invest more (3) your stars will leave and good buys are often as much as luck as they are good foresight. That is why teams with proven track record do consistently well such as Bayern, Juve, Milan, Real, Barca, and Man U.

Juve won't miss out CL for that long.

I dont think klose of a great success at Juve :smoke:
and 15m + miccoli is too much 4 him :smoke:
Personally, I think 15 million is not too much for the first scorer of World Cup, but I agree that Miccoli and 15 million may be too much, Miccoli alone is worth almost 10 million.

But they will get that money, if not from us then from Barcelona or Manchester United.

Let them earn the Money from Manu or even Bayern and with 15 Mil we can have Huntelaar. and with 15 Mil and Miccoli or Zalayeta we can have Huntelaar and Snejder together :eyebrows:

A football team makes new fans when they are successfull. Bremen made many new fans since they won the German Championship. Their stadium is nearly always full and their merchandise is more successful than ever before.
Schalke and Hamburg should take care of their debt problems before they will ever be more successful than Bremen is. For the last twenty years, Werder was more successfull than Hamburg (with very few exceptions). But perhaps you are right, they might just be better before I know it :disagree:

The big teams you have mentioned (except for Bayern) cheated. They all commercialize tv earnings (or however you call it) themselves while in the Bundesliga it is a central marketing. This is fair competition, while the italian league is a joke.

Also, I do not dream about Werder Bremen. I don't even have Pay-tv to watch them play in Bundesliga. That sums it up I guess. If there is any hobby I dream about its about expanding my collection of wrestling DVDs (btw, if anyone is interested in buying any pm me :D ).

To Klose: If you'd buy him for 15 or 20 million I would be very happy. It would not be worth it keeping him.
