David Trezeguet has warned the rest of Europe's elite that Juventus' primary goal is to win the UEFA Champions League.
The French hit-man is enjoying another imperious campaign as Juventus hold top spot in Serie A and remain a side to watch in European competition.
Trezeguet is convinced Europe's top prize remains in the Old Lady's grasp, providing they can match their early season form in the latter stages of the campaign.
''I think everyone else in Europe is like us,'' Trezeguet told Corriere dello Sport.
''But I add one thing, this year each match will be a clash to achieve the best.
''But the competition in which we will play with most anger is the Champions League. It cannot escape us.''
Talk in Italy has been that Trezeguet could soon engage in contract talks with Juve over an extension but for the moment, the player remains content enough with his current deal, which expires in 2008.
''I renewed my deal during the European Championship,'' he continued.
''For the moment, no-one at the club has spoken to me but it isn't a problem.
''I'm here and I feel good here. I have another two years left. We will see. I'm living with big intensity this year.
''It's important after what happened last year, the injuries and the difficulties. I'm living it as a year of revenge.''
