Way to go, Majed ;) !

I like your top ten for hip-hop, but mine would be probably just Eminem all around :D ... And My dad's gone crazy would be somewhere in the top of the list, and there would be Hailie's song too. Don't you like that one ?
yeah, i like Hailie's song too....
if you want me to name all the eminem tracks i like, then i'll have to warm up my fingures to type all of them here! :stress: ;)

A few that stand out:

- Marshal Mathers
- Bit** II (Ft. Snoop)
- Kill you
- Square Dance
- Till i collapse

I used to like Eminem until about a year ago when I discovered the hardcore hip-hop, it is so much better. But there are also a few better rappers within the same genre as Eminem such as Warren G and Pras. But Eminem is probably the artist with the most hits.

I do know what you mean....
I got hooked on some hard-core and some local Rap Artists, but what makes eminem better is his lyrics. his words are better chosen and the topics are even better.

    yeap
I said to my friend that Slash played with Lenny Kravitz for some time in the early 90's. But he said that it was impossible because he would never go so low plus that Lennys basist looks a lot like Slash. You do not happen to know the truth?

    A defunct genre...
    UK GARAGE / 2 STEP

    01. The B15 Project feat. Crissy D. & Lady G. 'Girls Like This'
    02. DJ Luck & MC Neat 'My Desire'
    03. Sweet Female Attitude 'Flowers' [Sunship Remix]
    04. Lonyoo -Comme Ci Comme Ca 'Summer Of Love'
    05. MJ Cole 'Sincere'
    06. Kristine Blond 'Love Shy' [Club Asylum Remix]
    07. True Steppers feat. Victoria Beckham & Dane Bowers 'Out Of Your Mind'
    08. DJ Luck & MC Neat 'A Little Bit Of Luck'
    09. Daniel Bedingfield 'Gotta Get Thru This'
    10. MJ Cole 'Wondering Why'

Why these and not some more hip stuff? Well, garage in its last years digressed and lost that sound of pure peace, harmony and sunshine I was so found and which defined the essence of the genre. To me.

I deliberatly omitted artists like So Solid Crew, Oxide & Neutrino or Heartless Crew but to name a few because they don't fit in this kind of garage I loved. Too dark, too agressive, too explicit lyrics. Having said that, I have most of the latters' albums so I really have no problem with them. They've crafted masterpieces like 'Ride Wid Us', 'Up Middle Finger' and many more.

Could've mentioned Artful Dodger's 'Rewind' which really initiated the Garage thing in continental Europe but the more I hear it the less I like it.

    Ciao.

Great list Stephane. Sad to see the genre has pretty much gone, a couple of years ago UK Garage was everywhere.
