And for now he's the only "top of the tops" player who'll surely miss the world cup. Due to injuries, retirements or due to not being selected some other top players like Nesta, Totti or Del Piero might miss the WC too, but for them we still don't know for sure.
Maybe you could add Cech, Berbatov, Adebayor, Sissoko and Arshavin there in the "top of the tops" list.


Quality players like Modric, Keane, Dzeko, Mutu will also miss it.
