this is shit but i feel that if del piero is played in fron and plays everry match he can be near the top three every season he is playing better so i tihnk if he has the chance this season he will shine more than last year...maybe its because im del piero biased :D

Vieri won't get enough playing time to be top goalscorer, Shevchenko is an icon at Milan and I don't think they would bench Gilardino after spending so much money. Together with Trez he is the best finisher in the league though.

1. An injury free Trezeguet will be deadly
2. Adriano, so tall and powerful, proves to be a tough job for defenders to handle. However if he failes to shine in a game, he is likely to be taken off, so this allows Martins to score.
3. Lucarelli, since he can be pretty mad at times and scores like nobody's business being the chief targetman @ Livorno

Competition is tough at Milan, it is hard to even predict who will be the top scorer in between Sheva, Gila + Bobo

Indeed, Mr. Glasslegs (Trez) could certainly take it if he stays fit and gets minutes by Capello. He's a deadly striker for sure.

My guess is Adriano or Shev will take it though, or Gila possibly.

Could we see toni take it??

Might be a nice little outsiders bet.
TBH Lucarelli stands a higher chance if he is as consistent as last season. Toni may need to compete with Bojinov in terms of goals scored.

    Agree, posted that erlier.
It´s often players from the "smaller" teams that takes it.

I think the term "chief targetman" would be more appropriate.
Don't you think that Gilardino topping the list for two straight seasons is what you are talking about?

Well there r different players from different teams in different leagues topping the list in their respective countries, but the similarity is that they r all chief targetman.

The one argument doesn´t exclude the other.
Yes, it´s often the "chief targetman" if you want to call him that.
But on the other hand it´s easier for a striker from a small club to win this title.
    Less games, less competition.

With the addition of less attention from the media which leads to less stress for the players.

Not Gilardino and definitely not Ibrahimovic. Trezeguet, Shevchenko and Adriano will be the frontrunners imo. Montella and Toni could be up there as well depending on how their clubs do.

Personally I think that Vieri stands a very good chance of being in the first team regularly. He's had a superb pre-season and unlike Gilardino is used to the big time. Bobo has already settled under Ancelotti, Gila isn't quite there yet. I could very well be wrong but I don't think the transition from small club to one of the world's biggest clubs will be easy for Alberto.

Not Gilardino, he will score maybe 12 goals this season. He wont get the playing time he got at Parma in Milan so i doubt he will score more then 15 goals, probably someone from the lower class teams is gonna take it. Maybe Vujinic?

But one can never forget Sheva, hes always a favorite.

I hpe Zlatan wins topscoree but i doubt it.

    My votes:

    1. Lucarelli
    2. Adriano (if he stays healthy)
    3. Toni

I think the Gila/Sheva partnership will work in aggregate, but neither will need to be capocannoniere. And so neither would be as individually dominant. But they'll be Serie A's gemelli dei gol.

    My thoughts exactly.
