i bought the album yesturday, and it was placed in the "ROCK" section and the chic who works there told me they are "rock" eventhough i told her they are not....i am gettin' a headache..
it depends on what is considered "rock" these days... Is At-The-Drive-In rock? Franz Ferdinand? wouldn't most people consider bands like Radiohead more indie than rock? rock these days aren't so easy to be defined... Does guitar bands constitute "rock" bands? Then if so, Busted would be considered a rock band.. How about non-guitar based bands like Keane?
i personally wouldn't call avril lavigne nor simple plan "rock", but then, that's just me... and for me, Maroon 5 still counts as rock...
I thought it was crap at first but live some songs are really good, especially frantic. But like Torkel said far from top ten. All the other Metallica albums except Re-Load are better.
