Ahh .. ur still discussing that, forget it .. it doesn't matter coz in the end we have won the Scudetto  !!
No... it is very important!
It would be embarasing if a keeper were to score against Juventus. But if Vieri scores... it's not half as bad. :D

anders is right about that supposed toldo goal
buffon was pushed and there had to be a penalty, if not, a free kick indeed. anyway, that match really kicked out my nerves that evening

what penalty. toldo scored, but not from his box, from ours. and penalties are only given to the team that attacks and is fouled in opponent's box ;)

Welcome to the forums Minfana!!!

You live in italy=?
:) Thank you for the welcome!

I live in Finland but have been in Italy a couple of times in Juve matches last year. In March I went to see Juve-Lazio in Turin and then I saw this Inter-Juve in Milan.

I saw Toldo live here in Finland when the national team played against ours. Of course there were also many Juve players like my VERY favourites Alex, Gigi and Gianluca Zambrotta. Even Marco di Vaio was here, but didn't get to play. I saw him from really close, too...!!

:D I think so too for some strange reason  just kidding. You should've seen how my hands shook when I took the photos - my camera nearly fell on the floor...

Anyway, Toldo is a fabulous GK, just remember how well he played in the Euro2000. It was awesome...!!:eek: He just has an overblown ego sometimes

I'm not sure that DP would accept that, as he is the real spot kick taker ;)

Well, if they were leading by a couple of goals and it was the dying minutes of the game, it wouldn't be that bad to let Gigi take a spot kick.

But what are the odds of those happening?

Also, we must take a loot at the ethical aspect. It would be a great insult to the opposing team if we let Gigi take the spot kick. It may seem as if we were not showing them any respect. And as Juve have always been, we must remain our humility and never disgrace an opponent.

That's why it was really saddening to hear the Maresca controvesy for celebrating in such an unfashionable manner against Torino last year if I'm not mistaken.
