Tip: how to make iso files (22 Viewers)

ISO is basically the whole CD/DVD ripped onto a single image file.. If you have an iso, all you have to do is open it through nero or some other similar burning program, and then proceed with the burning..

I just bought a new Lacie external DVD double layer writer. I am trying to burn a match on a DVD. The first time I directly burned it took like 18 hours and its frozen, the bar isn't budging. So I cancelled and saved the video as an iso file and did what you told me nawaf. Now it is stuck on 50% and it has been burning for 4 hours. What the hell is wrong? These DL DVD's ain't cheap each one costs around $8 :fero:!!!

Hmm.. I'm not too experienced with DVD writers tbh..

I'll get back to you on that..

Just saw this thread.... I can't ignore this thread without advertizing the Mac's side:


Not to show off or anything (ok.. maybe a little)

But OS X can do either... the dd command from the terminal or the cool "Disk Utility."
