The most improved player compared to last year, or is it Locatelli?
...
I'm not sure if I should congratulate Motta, or criticize Allegri in this case.
yildiz. 2nd place is close but weah for me

both, plus blame giuntoli for buying a winger for macs as a cuadrado replacement (who was a much more versatile player). allegri's 3-5-2 didn't suit timmy at all

Once again no love for this guy. He was a fucking freight train on the right, unstoppable most of the time.

Yeah he had a decent game, much more positive again in comparison to last season.

Possibly could have done better with the space he had in the first half but did brilliantly to set up Mbangula's chance that was cleared off the line. I missed their goal, could he have done better?

Also, you could see the difference on our right with him getting up to support Gonzalez and down the left where Kelly barely crossed the halfway line. Yildiz was double marked too often because Kelly wouldn't help out.

Floyd Kelly did cross the half way line regularly in the first half, it’s just that everyone ignored him like he was that kid on the school playground that was stuck on your team because he was the last pick.

We’ve had this issue regularly this season where we’ve had a full back like Cambiaso or Weah today who has been an outlet and helped the winger whilst on the other side we had Savona or now Kelly who the opposition just ignore.

He's gonna have to earn his space. Mckennie already has and Weah is pretty much there too. However Kelly is genetically flawed though and it's gonna take a huge transformation to turn him into a footballer.

Yesterday was a world class performance from Weah.
I see how his pace is much better utilized in the attacking fullback role. And it allows the defensive line to be higher as we have at least one very quick player in defense.

There are clear advantages of having two pacy wingers that aren’t afraid to dribble and go forward on the same side of the pitch, only downside is that he actually lacks in the defensive side of his game and we can easily get countered there, but overall i agree, he’s actually having a very good season by his standards and last night was another relentless game from him, should’ve had an assist too.
