Good game overall.
He had a couple of poor defensive moments in the first half, one he played their attackers onside and let to a chance and another he could have headed/chested it to Di Gregorio but instead did a poor header straight to Di Marco in a shooting position, which to be fair Weah blocked.
But the rest of his performance was good. His attitude is like the complete opposite of last year, he seems to be psyched up whereas last year he seemed very meek. Credit to him for the improvement.

I mean, we just beat the supposed best team in the league, with both Weah and Mckennie as starters. So not sure what else you could demand at this point.
Regrettably, I think regardless of how well they do now or in the future, there is always going to be some cloud of suspicion around them for some reason.

It depends on what you mean by a world class team. Sure, if we had Real or City money, obviously we wouldn't even be discussing this.
But I've watched Juve for long enough to know that we have had players like Pessotto, Tacchinardi, Pepe, Birindelli, and others who are all decent Italians, but still played a big role in some or many of our seasons. We always had decent hard working players to supplement a couple world class folks like Del Pie and Zizou.
My point is this - we would NOT even be having this discussion if Weah and Mckennie were Italian. And that's always been the double standard here and with this club in general.
