Following nine consecutive days of intensive training sessions in Val d’Aosta, Antonio Conte’s men will have the chance to put their initial work to the test in tonight’s TIM Trophy.
The three-way triangular tournament, to be contested at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari, will see the Bianconeri meet Inter and Milan in two 45-minute fixtures.
Juventus will be aiming to win the traditional pre-season curtain raiser for the second time in their history. They last lifted the trophy in 2009, triumphing 2-0 over Milan after beating Inter on penalties following Amauri’s equaliser in normal time.
Conte’s men went close in last year’s edition, narrowly losing out on spot kicks against the Nerazzurri, before Alessandro Matri swooped at the death to grab a last-gasp victory against former employers Milan.
The tournament will get underway with Juventus facing Inter in the opening game. Kick-off is scheduled for 8.45pm.
