I doubt we'll get more than €2m considering he will only have a year left.
We won't even ask for money because we know that we won't get any.
We will either just give him away and cut all connections with him or, in a worse case, do something similar to what we did with Trez. Sell him for 0 eur but still pay part of his wages during what was supposed to be his last year of the contract with Juve.

Why would we do that? We could sell him off to Porto or Benfica, I think they'd pay a few million for him.

Tiago Mendes was alright with Chelsea and Lyo nand he wasn't that bad with AM. Don't understand how did he turn to badly with Juve.

May as well keep him for backup if we sell Sissoko?

If we don't take our option on Aquilani then we need to bring back Ekdal and Tiago for backup? At least we wouldn't have to buy anyone. :D

I'm not hoping he will be, don't get me wrong. But as a backup is concerned, then maybe keeping him for that role would be sensible?

Aside from that fact...it's his own fault he sucked here...we own his bitch ass for another year anyways, so if he is reserve than he pulls a grosso next year for us.

No, because he really doesn't want to play for Juventus.
Though I believe he will ask the club to play somewhere else, due to his bad stint; wonder if he did play For JUVE next season would he perform better than Aquilani? Mmm they both have long range shots, but I would put my money on Aquilani's strike.

Atletico know full well that we are desperate to sell him, and could even be forced into allowing him to be loaned to them again, then if they please they can sign him on a free in june 2012. Tiago himself could be clever nasty about this situation, if he wanted atletico, which he seems to...
10/11 - 33 appearances for atletico, 10 appearances for portugal.
They obviously like him and he remains a regular for a top ten ranked country, portugal...

My suspicion is they are playing games with us...Tiago has agreed to not sign with any other club, but again on loan with atletico, and the club refuses to pay any money for his outright transfer...which leaves us facing...at best...saving the $ for his wages for another season then letting him go for free. I hope this isnt the case, but it seems more than possible...perhaps likely.

Seriously, it shouldn't be too hard to find another club to at least take an interest in an established international and regular in the atletico midfield.

Its amusing how so many people, especially on here, judge him purely on his time at juve...somehow, completely avoiding his consistently decent form at atletico, lyon, chelsea and for the portuguese national team. league titles in france and england, two solid leagues, consistently a part of the national team, solid showings in spain. He is far from awful...And if we, by some weird miracle, managed to acquire a truly world class coach this summer, then i would not be horrified or annoyed, but hopeful, if he did return to our ranks...

You are right. Juventus fans judging a (former) player on his performances at Juve. That is amusing.
well, most football fans I know and enjoy bantering with, have the ability to recognize that a player often moves clubs throughout a career, and its quite common for some players, to be brilliant at several clubs, or even one club, and massively less useful at another club. Do you think there are many man u fans who still say that Forlan is a terrible player????...nevermind...interacting with you is like talking to a slug with down syndrome.

He still has very rep in Portugal. And I believe that's the case all over the europe. We should sell him this summer and not loan him again to those spanish pricks.
