Ledesma, Lass. Diarra, Palombo are the examples of several CMs that linked with us recently

He is going to Atletico on loan while they actually want to buy him means there is resolution about the wages, i hope Atletico pays Tiago's full wage, if not Marotta must be dumb.. I can't believe Tiago doesn't have any other teams interested to him other than Atletico

"Tiago stated that atletico was his only option."Atletico Madrid was my only option and, finally, I have achieved it," he told Marca at Barajas airport in Madrid before declaring that he expects his second season at the Vicente Calderon to be an easier one."

We shouldn't loan his ass to atletico
We shouldn't be loaning a 30 yr. old player who we have no use for anymore period.

On the bright side we should have free wages for new players, hopefully the last 15 days of this mercato is significantly better than the past two months.
Is this his last year under contract with us?
It expires in 2012.

Tiago Declares Atletico Madrid Were His Only Option After Departing Juventus

Tiago has revealed that Atletico Madrid was his only option after departing Juventus for a second consecutive loan deal with the Primera Liga outfit.

The Portuguese international joined los Colchoneros at the end of last year and was an influential addition to Quique Flores' side. Atleti had been expected to sign the 29-year-old on a permanent deal but instead a loan arrangement has been agreed.

"Atletico Madrid was my only option and, finally, I have achieved it," he told Marca at Barajas airport in Madrid before declaring that he expects his second season at the Vicente Calderon to be an easier one.

"This year year will be much easier for me."

Tiago fires shot at Juve Tuesday 17 August, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tiago has fired a parting shot at Juventus following his move back to Atletico Madrid on loan.

The Portugal international seemed to revel in the idea that Juventus couldn't sell him outright.

Tiago has made no secret of his annoyance at the way Juventus have treated him in recent years.

Speaking at his second official unveiling as an Atletico player, Tiago said: “Atletico and I are happy, but in the end Juve will be a little less so.

“I am very happy. It was very difficult for me, but in the end I got what I wanted. I believe that we are much stronger than last year.

“Important players have arrived and we want to fight for the top places. The minimum objective is to be in the Champions League.”

When asked if he'll be ready to play in the European Super Cup against Inter, Tiago said: “I think it would be difficult. I did my first training session with the ball today.

“I still have to work. I would have preferred to see Mourinho stay in Italy. But this year we must beat Real because it's been a long time that we haven't succeeded.”

Well, that's classy, Tiago.

Here, allow me to match that class by stating that I hope you come down with ass cancer, and no one can help you because they've decided to lock themselves in the bathroom stalls.

Good riddance, you jackass

I hope that little comment comes back to haunt him next season.

They need to let him rot for the entire year. Seriously.

-edit. Also, how on earth was Pepe's loan 2.5m euros, while Tiago's is 0.5m?!!? Someone needs to slap some sense into Marotta, maybe they'd straighten out that lazy eye in the process.
