The coming of Diego may have resolved Tiago's problem's at Juve, at least im optimistic about this guy. I think it has come at the right time for Camoranesi also, who has always looked good in the middle. Two years consisting of injuries and non-stop international duties even if he's half-fit probably haven't helped Mauro's legs.
You are right. As Diego will definitely be in starting 11, there will be one less space on bench, so Tiago can fly away

99.9% of footballers can't do that against a tired 9 man USA in the 90:th minute, then I'll quit my interest in football.

It is a fine move though and especially the split vision for the pass is nice.

Pirlo's problem is that he does everything in slow motion. He trusts too much in his supposed "genius". He is too fancy to sweat or show emotion out there. As long as that is the case, he is nothing more than a very mediocre player. Add hunger and you'll have the Pirlo of 2006 and earlier, which is an influential player for any team.

Now, it might appear I have some sort of ridiculous personal agenda against this fellow like v29454543535382ual against Marco Motta, Azzurri7 against Ibrahimovic, etc. Don't be mistaken though, I just feel there are too many people around here who see the name Pirlo and cream themselves, all based on what he did a number of years ago. The same people who think Grosso is the best LB in the history of football after what he did in Germany.

You do realise there is quite a large scope of appreciation between "creaming" oneself and calling him a "very mediocre player"..?

Pirlo might not be the ultimate playmaker he once was anymore, but I think you have an issue with Pirlo. You are entitled not to like him, but your assessment of him is a bit ridiculous.

And I fail to see what Grosso has to do with that.

Are you trying to tell me that what you just mentioned was Pirlo's role at Milan?
no i am trying to tell you that i believe momo needs to play in front of our 4 defenders. if we sign melo he can play either. but if we sign dagostino momo should play there. just that...

If you insist on wrong positioning, I'd rather end this discussion.
Well what's wrong for you may be right for him, afterall you are saying that he doesn't know the classic scheme of 3man midfield rather than trying to prove why Pirlo is playing there, maybe he doesn't want us to play like Milan or Azurri. But if Ciro never tries Sissoko in the centre of midfield, you won't be able to say that the guy was wrong, no matter how dumb his opinion may sound (and it does sound dumb for me as Sissoko ain't no Tiago, he needs ~3 touches to make a fine pass forward. We may as well play Legro there and i wouldn't be surprised if that bought better results in attack).

I am talking about the regista position, Sissoko is not a regista.

Then we talked about Pirlo who plays as a regista.

Then he defined the role of the player that he wants in the hole. He said that the player in the hole should defend well and give a short pass for the central midfielders, something Sissoko is capable of doing. Which makes all his Pirlo theory wrong because Pirlo does much more than defending and completing a short pass.

The discussion with him has been going on for days and just about now I discovered that it won't get me anywhere.

Esteban, I think you will find that Pirlo isn't that far off what he was a few years ago; but the players around him are signifiantly worse.

Gattuso used to be able to cover for him better, he used to have great wingbacks flying up the wings to give him options, but that isn't the case any more, so he has to play even more difficult passes.

If I had to choose a player to consistently play a sixty yard pass, it would probably still be Pirlo.

Tiago, why don't you just leave? You have no future here.
You were dissapointing in nearly all games you have played.
The only good thing you did was when you locked our president up in the bathroom. And even that you didn't do right when you got him out.
Leave Tiago leave and try to make something of what is left of your career.
