Poulsens passing is overrated, put tiago and sissoko together and youll se a solid midfield. Put sissoko and poulsen and we'll struggle for one decent chance on goal, go back to the beginning of the season and see the array of results sissoko and poulsen combined
what games do you think of exactly ... the games where poulsen scored us a crucial goal or the games when poulsen did sit back and defend to let sissoko roam around and have some shots on goal ?

Yeah because sissoko is a renown attacker and shot tacker, poulsen and sissoko together proved to be too defensive for our sake. Check the stats of tiago and sissoko together and see our winning percentage and our goal margin. Please don't tell me youd choose poulsen over tiago just because he scored a "crucial" goal a la panucci...

i'd take someone who does score a goal while having few to none chances over someone that did have enough good situations to score but always fails ...

tiago is like the nelson valdez of midfielders ... exactly the definition of a "chancentod"

and if you want statistics, than you should check how many games we lost, when giovinco played and you will see, that you do not want to make player value assumptions based on statistics ;)

no need to argue here, cyril. i know that you like tiago, just like i probably like poulsen ;)

Thiago for Tiago

Juventus are planning to exchange Portuguese midfielder Tiago for Genoa's Thiago Motta, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Motta has been a revelation this season, inspiring the Grifone to within a hair's breadth of the Champions League.

He joined Genoa from Atletico Madrid for free in the summer and has scored six goals in 23 appearances this season.

The Grifone have reportedly slapped a £15m price tag on Motta, whose career many thought was over when he left Barcelona in 2007.

Juventus are apparently unwilling to meet that asking price, but will go some way to meeting it by offering Tiago as a makeweight.

The status of Domenico Criscito and Raffaele Palladino could also work in Juventus' favour as they look to make a deal.

The Bianconeri part own the two players, who have been at Genoa this season and they could let them go for Motta.

Tiago would move to the Grifone on loan until the end of next season as well with Juventus paying his contract in full.

Genoa have their doubts about taking the Portuguese outright because of his well publicised difficulties at Juventus.

Tiago, who turns 28 tomorrow, has made just 34 appearances for the Bianconeri since joining from Lyon in 2007.

Well,as I remember from barca,he was just an average youngster there.....
well, he has had fantastic season with genoa, and i think his last year in serie a team tells us a lot more than some years back in spain. afterall, none of our mids had the season he has had this year. sissoko had the potential till he get injured at the most important point of our season, but other's didnt even came close. but he won't come cheap, he has been influential as hell for genoa, and has still three years left on contract. maybe before this season many would choose tiago over thiago, but surely not now, definetly not at turin :)

This takes clutching at straws to the next level. What a ridiculous post, seriously.
