I would be willing to bet that if tiago went to a team such as Porto he would be reborn there, it seems though he can't play in a league with so much pressure. Let's face it he wasn't that good at Chelsea. He thrived at Lyon, probably because of the lack of real opposition. And we all know what's happened here...
As talented as he could be, his personality doesn't allow him to be anything more than a passenger in a team, never the driver.

He rarely looks out of place. That's his main quality and that says a lot.

His persoinality is fine yesterday he was fighting all over the pitch, I dont think its a problem with his personality it's more of your perception of him that's wrong.
Some of you guys had high expectations for him because of his high price tag, and now you believe he's underachieving that's why most of you are dissatisfied.

If let's say we had bought him for half that sum, everybody would had been pleased with his showings so far.

that's not true...no matter what your worth, you have to deliver good performances...I expect a great game from Ale as well as Manninger, it doesn't make a difference...but with Tiago, well I have yet to see a game where I could think yeah, Tiago was the man today...and no it's not an anti-Tiago bias, it's jsut the simple truth

What showings?
The guy has 0 goals and a good match against Reggina in 2 years.
Even if Lyon paid 13m eur to us to buy Tiago from them, i'd have still been disappointed and i certainly wasn't going to be pleased with his performace in Juve.

Average performance for some average midfielder, but above average performance for Tiago.
Molinaro and Del Piero were better than Tiago in the first half. Yes, Molinaro.

In the second half he was even worse than the usual Tiago. Overall he was our worst player together with Poulsen, Marchionni and Legro.

Molinaro had overlapping runs, dispossessed Figo on more than one occassion, had a last ditch clearance, and to top it all actually had one cross too... so no he wasn't worse than Tiago, maybe not better but certainly not worse...

Edit: The problem I have with Tiago is that even if he has a decent half he isn't able to take it over to the next half... His two games before getting injured at Inter in the first half of the season were good... but even in those games he'd just switch off after the half time..
