I agree with Alen. Very unprofessional. Although Ill take it with a pinch of salt, like every other story on Tiago.

I dont buy the arguement that our management undermined his confidence. He isn't 20 years old. He has previously played at 2 different clubs who played at a high level and should be able to channel criticism more effectively than locking team presidents in the bathroom. Believe it or not, some players actually strive to improve when criticized. Shutting yourself down and half assing your way through games just to spite your manager is wrong any way u look at it.

Bottom line, he was given his chances and he didn't impress. No personality to his game, which for some1 who needed to make a point, was all he had to show. Even Ekdal, an inexperienced 19 year old who made his 1st journey abroad, imposed himself more in matches. Even Sissoko, who's arrival wasn't greeted with the warmest of welcome by fans and media, and who arrived mid way through the season (less time to settle in), fought to prove his worth.

Pfff :lol2: Yeah Ekdal has played so many important matches thus far.

Bottom line is, I don't agree with you.

It's the fact that some1 as young and inexperienced as Ekdal strove to make a point, something I havent seen Tiago try yet, even with a shitload more top level experience.

That speaks volumes on his character. He would rather lock our president in the bathroom as revenge than prove he can compete for a spot.

Bottom line is Tiago hasn't performed. He hasn't shown anything worthy of pushing Zanetti or Sissoko aside, and with his wages and lack of ambition to prove Ranieri wrong, were better off selling him. It's the best solution for the club and the player, yet he doesn't want to leave.

Ekdal has only played in a couple friendlies.

Just goes to show if you're a Juventus player, you better impress or else you're going to have a target on your chest.

Ekdal has not even played in a real match so these comparisons are utterly pointless.

PS I hope Tiago stays as long as he wants.

I'm comparing their attitudes on the pitch, using Ekdal as an example because he is young, inexperienced and new. Replace his name with whoever u want, the point still stands. He doesn't want to impose himself in games even though that should be his top priority. He should be making himself available to receive balls, trying more daring passes, running alot more, etc, yet he does none of that. Were all aware he can, but he wont. It's obvious he is not trying.

I'm still holding out hope that he will take a u-turn this season, but with the story involving Gigli it appears it's only going to be more of the same. Were better off having some1 on the bench who wants to play.

maybe andy was right about the fault being ourselves.

but as a professional i think its wrong of him to act this way.
as far as where the fault lies, in this case its tiago. he shldn't even act in this manner.

his car/house will be vandalized
what time are we going over there ?? ;)

Maybe somebody will kill Tiago in the process and make you guys happy.
well, I wont lose any sleep, tbh

..

While we're comparing the current management to the previous one, Salas was a cunt also who refused to move anywhere, because he didnt want to lose his fat pay cheque, under Moggi era, if that counts for anything...
how funny is it that they look like they could be brothers ?

 But who knew Tiago would go to such extreme measures to stay.
I did. That's why I said it and now I will tell you another thing, Tiago will have his mark on this team, he stayed to prove a point and that shows you personality, something you repeatedly said that he lacks.

They could have put Giovinco, De Ceglie or Marchisio in list B and put Ekdal in list A right? You need to play 2 years with the Primavera to be able to be in list B. boh!
