Ranieri with his comments (not only the one about Tiago) is just as guilty, i never said otherwise. He doesn't have the talent or charisma of Mourinho to "play" with the media and he usually says all the wrong things.
But just because the old man is a fool it doesn't mean that Tiago has an excuse to do whatever he wants and make us look like even bigger fools than what people think after hearing Ranieri's words.

And i also know that Tiago's childish outbursts are partly to be blamed on our coach and directors. There isn't a strong hand to take control of everything and with every next day we look more and more like Palermo's Zamparini. What did we become ? The new village idiot of serie A ?

But still there is no excuse for what Tiago did. I hope Sissoko and Poulsen will beat the crap out of him so he'll think twice before he does another foolish thing.

As for Miccoli.... Lippi didn't but Moggi certainly talked bad about him.
I don't recall when Moggi did, whether it was right after we got him or down the road. I think it's the latter.

That "in buying Tiago we were thrown..." comment didn't mean we didn't want him, if that was the point, he wouldn't have been bought. We have been discussing about it a few months ago, he was a second choice after failure in negotiations with Liverpool for Sissoko. It is ridiculous stating that somebody thrown 13 million euros in the mud for someone unwanted. Even Secco.
You act as if whistling dixie is meaningless. This is a fucking football club. "Thrown into buying" a player? That means they wanted somebody else and didn't want Tiago, but were "thrown into it." I'm not going to dissect the sentence because people who command a decent grasp of English should be able to tell that's a foolish comment. Especially when the dunce Ranieri is not defending the player against the stupid Italian media's "flop" label in September.

no doubt, Juventus is to blame for the Tiago situation...but why does he want to stay at a place when he is being blatantly disrespected? Why not move on, go to a club that appreciates him and will allow him to resurrect his career...

..

While we're comparing the current management to the previous one, Salas was a cunt also who refused to move anywhere, because he didnt want to lose his fat pay cheque, under Moggi era, if that counts for anything...

Of course it isn't meanigless, I agree it affects morale, and that comment was unnecessary at least, but Ranieri is too honest and that is why he looks a bit silly when he's speaking to the media. However, there were so many his other comments praising Tiago throughout the season, even in the last days, that this one comment is like a drop in the ocean - but you continue to refer to this one over and over again, like if Ranieri is saying that about Tiago every day.

No, I just refer to this because that was where the damage was done.

I dont think it was Ranieri at all...it was I believe Secco who told the whole world that Tiago had rejected Everton bla bla bla yada yada yada...I think thats where it became really ugly
