Tiago sucks for us. Why do I care if he performs well for another team? (as long as it's not a direct rival)

I'm not going to praise or judge Tiago for his performances for Lyon, or his next destinations. I'm going to judge him based on his performances for us. He's been shit for us, thus he should be sold. End of discussion.

Stupid opinion really, but hey, good thing you don't gloryhunt for Genoa..

what's stupid was you defending him based on his one "good" performance against Reggina. but that's okay, your argument was always weak anyway.

Might as well just say every single player that does NOT play for Juventus blows.

What a juvenile opinion.
why do twist words? how and where did I say that if someone doesn't play for Juve then he sucks? you do this crap often and it's very irritating. Any time someone argues with you, you twist their words and make it seem that they are unreasonable, when the only one being unreasonable is you who completely shift topics to make it seem you are correct.

As if you knew anything about the player anyway, considering apparently you think all players who don't perform well for "Juventus" suck. Now jog on.

Ledesma being "5 times the player Almiron will ever be" was an overestimation of Ledesma, i admit, but there should be absolutely no doubt that Ledesma is a MUCH better player than Almiron, and it has very little to do with Almiron flopping in Juve.

It has everything to do with me closely following serie A, which means watching the match on Saturday at 18:00 CET, the Saturday evening match, one Sunday afternoon match and the Sunday evening match, plus watching the highlights on La Domenica Sportiva.

The ones sceptical about Ledesma's qualities are those who probably don't even know how the guy looks like and which are his qualities.

i think the key word is this:

He's been shit for us.

but that doesnt he is bad for others, now if this is our concern, its another matter...
Exactly. He's been shit for us! but people come and say "oh but he was great for Lyon!" to which I say who cares what he was in the past? his past isn't going to help us, it's what he does NOW. and NOW he is bad for us.

Truthfully I think arguments are weak on both sides as he really didn't play that much nor was he ever really given a shot.
he played little, but what he played in he has rarely shown any fighting spirit or character, or attempt to impose himself, bar the match against Reggina, which I'm sure Andy is keen to remind us of.

The only one here who has that idea is you. But whatever helps you feel superior, oh mighty and knowledgeable one who apparently is very good at imagining things :seven:

did I mention that Tiago has been shit for us?

Btw, i checked the stats for last year's serie A again and what do you know......

Ledesma was #1 in successful crosses with 62 s.crosses (Juve's best was Del Piero, who was 8th place with 47 succ.crosses) , he was #2 in completed passes (the best in Juve was Zanetti, who was 42nd overall) and #5 in intercepted passes (the best in Juve in this category was Molinaro who was 44th in serie A).

And even more, the guy has a brilliant vision and a cannon in his foot. Takes perfect free kicks and has great playmaking skills.

But of course, i'm not realistic here because Almiron didn't perform for Juve so he must suck, while all the others are great.

Andy didn't claim you said that, he just said that your statement:

is almost as ignorant and weak, because there you claim you don't care how players perform for other teams other than Juve.

I think you have to look at percentages because if Ledesma had 62 successful out of 185, but Delpie had 47 sucessful out of 53, who is the better crosser?

I don't really think you can look at those type of statistics....

And the 2nd argument:

No, because Andy and others claim that the player WAS good for Lyon so that it takes away from the fact that Tiago has been shit for us. To which I reply, why the fuck do I care if he is WAS good for Lyon? does him being good for Lyon mean we should not criticize or say that he has been shit for us? now tell me is Tiago's good performances for Lyon going to help us when the player is playing like crap NOW? you know what don't even answer that because the answer is obvious for everyone else to see.

oh and If my argument is ignorant and weak, then so is Andy's. Because Andy claims that Molinaro is a shit player, when he WAS good for Siena. So I guess Andy is also a hypocrite in this situation.

All right, one might argue that Siena and Chelsea/Lyon are different cases, but that's not the point now.

No, because Andy and others claim that the player WAS good for Lyon so that it takes away from the fact that Tiago has been shit for us. Andy claimed that because a player fails at Juve doesn't mean he is shit. And he gave examples of players that performed well in other teams: Salas, Henry, etc.

But yeah, he was shit for us so far, that I agree with. I just wouldn't call him a shitty player because of that.
