well his penalty wasn't that great either. I really think he's lost so much confidence it can't be brought back by Ranieri so maybe it's best he goes, even though I always thought he'd shine for us.

Well I dont think any club will want to make a bid for him, a loan is out of the question. I believe he will remain here.

Now we all know what his capable of but how do you bring the best out of a player who seems so demoralised?

I saw Ranieri tonight giving him some advice but it almost seemed that Tiago was just nodding his head away without really paying attention.

Despite this I still think its a do or die and I think its still worth giving him a chance before we get rid of him. I doubt we will be playing a 442 throughout the season, despite it looking likely. I think Ranieri still believes in him and thats sometimes useful for a player to know.. but really Tiago needs to shake up or puts some make up and leave.

I haven't seen the match against inter...

If he was so bad, we must sell Tiago and Almiron and with the money to buy some young talent for our midfield.
Even if we sell Tiago and Almiron I don't see us bringing in anyone new as we allready have Zanetti, Sissoko, Poulsen, Marchisio and Ekdahl for Cm.

I never wanted a player to succeed in a Juve shirt so badly. And I never before cared for this player, I just wanna see him shut millions of mouths up.

Go Tiago!

I think he did a good job in the game vs inter, yes he missed a penaltie so what? He lacks confidence thats for sure, with time itll be brought back. But during the game defensively he did a solid job to say the least.

Tiago is somewhat of an infamous figure in italy after playing crap for more then 10 games now. It remains to be seen if he ever will be able to play as good as goal.com articles reliable are !

I never seen Almiron got his chance as much as Tiago last year..
So i see that why Ranieri didn't give Almiron to play together in pre season
Almiron seems doing not bad in pre season last season when we beat Roma 5-2 (He makes assist) and in the opening season when we beat Livorno 5-1 and Parma (Coppa) 3-1
So till now, i don't understand why we don't try him to play again
Almiron has experience play in Italy
Why gave only Tiago a chance to play although he doesn't fit with Italian league style of play

Almiron is as good as gone anyway, say goodbye.

I gotta say i do like an underdog figure, i can't help but barrack for them...so go Tiago. He just needs a slap in the face, its like he's lost all hope and Ranieri doesn't seem to be inspiring him.

it won't make much of a difference if we keep him and play him for 15 minutes every now and again instead of selling him for peanuts and we lose depth. There has to be some value in this guy ffs!!

Tiago vacates Turin home Thursday 31 July, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus midfield outcast Tiago Mendes could be set for an immediate exit after he moved out of his house in Turin.

The Portuguese international suffered a miserable first season in Serie A despite arriving from Lyon with high hopes.

And he hasn’t made the grade in pre-season, missing a penalty in the Trofeo TIM against Milan.

Coach Claudio Ranieri has hinted that Tiago could be on his way and admits that he has been a flop.

“All over Europe he is considered to be a great player,” the Juve boss said. “But calcio throws up some strange mysteries.

“There are flops in Italian football and sometimes it seems to make no sense. But there are lots of fans who want me to continue with Tiago.”

Tiago has reportedly cancelled the lease on his house in Turin and is in a hotel while his family have returned to Portugal.

The 27-year-old’s next destination is still unclear but he has been linked to Benfica in recent weeks.
