We can disagree here, I do want a super cm. But if doesnt happen, it would be stupid to spend on a sub par name and dismiss tiago.

Well duh, because a subpar means signing someone who isnt better then Tiago. Who would want that to happen, I rather we do everything possible to sign Xabi, or other quality alternatives to improve us. There are way enough quality players to not find any. Most importantly playmaking CMs.

That's the problem with him, he keeps getting chances and yet fails to produce. He hasn't got enough games purely because he sucked badly in the time he played. Why should we keep on fielding a bad player? Get rid of him, immediately.

These fans only remember the Coppa match and the subsequent match in Serie A, and base their judgement of the player on those poor performances in 2008. And this is guaranteed.

-never played 3 games in a row
-media pressure>"flop"

is pretty ok for a player who is labelled one of the biggest flops in history.I wouldn't loose sleep if we sell him but I'd prefer him to let's say Poulsen,that's for sure.

The main factor in the "flop" argument is that Ranieri benched him. That's about it.

That's not entirely correct. He made a decent show of himself in the second half vs lazio(when to be fair, Zanetti and DP won us that match by themselves anyway though) and started the next two games, but subsequently his performances dropped witch each game after the Lazio one.

Actually, come to think of it, I remember getting pretty tired of giving Tiago additional chances near the end of last season as he just kept bottling them up. And this was a time when the season was as good as over, meaning NO PRESSURE. He made 20 or more appearances for juve this season.

In the end it's pretty simple, was he good enough or not? No, he was not.
