If Ranieri has no intention in playing tiago there is no reason why he shouldn't be sold . Right now , I think the problem is he doesn't fit in the juventus team . His style of play doesn't suit this juventus or even Serie A for that matter .
I think Almiron has a much brighter future with Juventus . I think we should sell tiago for a reasonable price , buy a decent cb and a creative midfielder . As far as everything else I think we're fine in the rest of the departments .
And I still think Tiago should get his chance first.

I was really thrilled when we singed him but fact is that the new team has already been built and it's obvious that Tiago does't fit in this team. I don't understand why Ranieri never had the intention to start with Tiago. He's clearly the most talented CM in the team. Maybe it will be good if Tiago can start in tomorrow's game. Ranieri should rest a few players for the big game against Inter. Now Tiago must grap his chance. However, I wouldn't like Nocerino or Zanetti being replaced as they're both doing very well at the moment. When Camoranesi and Marchionni return and Nedved reaches his old level again, midfield will have far more to bid. I wish him al the best, but he should keep playing and keep working.

Blanc: Tiago Has A Future At Juventus

Juventus director general Jean Claude Blanc insists that Portuguese flop Tiago Mendes has a future at the club and just requires time to settle.

The 26-year-old midfielder signed from Lyon for £9.2m in the summer and was expected to be the key man at the heart of the Bianconeri midfield.

However the ex-Chelsea man has been a complete disaster in Turin and has started just one Serie A game this season.

Tiago recently stated that he would leave Juventus in January if Coach Claudio Ranieri didn’t start playing him more, and the Italian press has had a field day in finding him possible transfer destinations.

“Tiago remains a great champion and he is part of the club’s treasure chest,” Blanc stated. “He has not yet found space, but he must be allowed time to settle into Italian football.

“What would happen if he asked to leave? The priority is to have more than 11 players of real quality. “It’s a long season and we have only played eight games, so it is too early to make decisions. Tiago has to give his best week after week and prove he deserves a place.”

According to Daily Mirror, also West Ham would observe Juventus' midfielder Tiago (26), not used so much in this beginning of season from trainer Ranieri. The cost of negotiation would be 8 million euros. The portuguese has already played in Premier League with Chelsea's jersey during the season 2004/2005 (34 presences, 4 goals).

Who cares so long as someone buys him & we can all get back to talking about the players who play every week. At least when it was Crapello benching Ale, we were discussing a player who'd been here 10 years, scored over 150 goals in 400 games & was the club captain. WTF has Tiago ever done to deserve such discussion?

Juve's Swede dreams

Juventus are being linked with Aston Villa stopper Olof Mellberg and unsettled midfielder Tiago Mendes may take his place in the Premier League.
Despite their successful start to the campaign, the Bianconeri are still looking for another defender to replace the injured Jorge Andrade.
Youngster Domenico Criscito has performed well in the role, but he has also fallen victim to injury niggles and Mellberg is eyeing a move to the peninsula.
“After seven years in Birmingham I would like to move to a big Italian or Spanish side who will be in Europe next year,” the Swedish international recently stated.
Mellberg could arrive in Turin on a free transfer this summer as his contract with Villa expires in June and sporting director Alessio Secco is expected to travel to open talks with him soon.
Meanwhile, there are rumours that West Ham are preparing a bid for Tiago [pictured], whose days in Turin seem to be numbered.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Hammers are ready to step in with a £5m offer in January – a fee that Juve are likely to accept.
While Tiago has been linked with Fiorentina, he has already played in England

This must be some kind of joke, right?????????

Good job Tiago  Keep up the good work.

Hope you will given more playing time to show your worth. :)

If you play against Inter next sunday, make assists or goals then you will be the 1st choices. Guaranteed.

When asked about Tiago after the match, Ranieri said he thought Tiago did a good job, and that he saw he was getting physically and mentally on par with the rest.

Better days to come for Tiago!

wtf was Tiago on a desert island or something...im sure he had a tough season with Lyon but how outta shape was he?
Yeah they seem to be making a big deal out of his performances in training and his fitness.

:agree:

But it has to be for longer than 25 mins & has to come v much stronger opposition.
thats true but you have got to remember the guy has hardly played, just 4 appearances and a few of them were for 10 mins! Its terrible that in Italy they have no reserve league, so he will have very poor match fitness. if he can get a run going and get up2 match fit we will see the real Tiago, then we can judge if he is good enough for Juve!

Fair enough. Def too much of a risk v Inter though.
