He should defenetly start the next game. The Zanetti - Nocerino combo is simply not creative enough, and they both have a weak passing rate, still Zanetti is one of the players, who have to play, when fit. Lets try Tiago and Zanetti against Palermo.
Yes. Quite frankly I'm getting sick of Blasi... sorry I mean Nocerino not performing or living up to his hype. Being young and Italian shouldn't be the only requirements needed to earn a spot as a starter on Juventus central midfield.

I agree. Nocerino´s initial momentum is gone and he has been average lately. Time to see some bench, son. There will be plenty of time for him in the future. But 1st he must improve some things in order to be starter again.

Now it is Tiago´s time who is drastically improving.

Next match Tiago-Zanetti, the winning formula. :D

this would be my first-choice line-up now :

-----------Iaquinta---Trez----------
----------------------------Palladino

------------------Tiago---------------
----------Zanetti-----Nocerino-------

Brazzo---Chiellini---Legro---Zebina
-----------------Buffon----------------

Palladino switching left and right wing

And at home games or when behind Nedved in and Nocerino out

Bring Camo in at the last quarter of every game. He's pretty good at that :D
Ok, maybe Palla out Camo in.

this is more a shot at ranieri than anything. if he's a poor performer in training, and i'm assuming he's lazy based on what i've heard. how does ranieri even field a starting XI when the off the ball movement of most of his players is zero to non-existant?
:agree:

shut the fuck up:tdown: !!
why are u writing all these posts on his thread when u dont like him?
what do u have against the guy???,every person on this forum & probably every Juve fan outhere agrees that he should start
Ranieri has no excuse of benching him anymore,he was saying he still didnt adapt but now he adapted & if he has any sense in his head,Tiago wont see the bench in the coming matches.
Oh right, great way to speak, why? Because I dont idolise a guy whos been here 5 minutes & IMO still has a LOT to prove as a Juve player. I agree Nocerino has fallen off in recent weeks, but you were calling for Tiago when things were going well, which is no different from me saying still sell him now. I admit after yesterday we did look a better side with him on the field & that its time for the Nocerino/Zanetti partnership to be broken up, even if only for a brief period. We need points now, if Tiago helps us get that, great.

Its not personal with Tiago, not a matter of not liking him. What I dont like is that we spent a huge portion of our summer transfer budget on him, when -again only IMO - we needed a CB or LB much more urgently.

when were things going well??
We always lacked creativity in midfield in most of our matches this season,in recent matches, the only 2 big results were agaimst Reggina & Empoli & amaizingly these were the only matches Tiago started this season.
I am not against Nocerino at all,I like the guy,I think he is promising but still he can never be a regular starter who starts every match for Juve, also his partnership with Zanetti is simply stupid & even worse offensivly than Emerson_Viera partnership.

I disagree again on the last part, the stupid thing this board did was getting both Almiron & Tiago at the same time,we needed only one of them,Tiago was a world class midfielder before he came to Juve wether u admit it or not & it was a very smart transfer & it was worth every penny.
I think Almiron was the MISTAKE & everybody was overrating him like crazy in the pre-season & now for me alongside Andrade he is our worst transfer so far.

Camoranesi and Palladino switching wings permanently in the game with Tiago in the mid should solve the creativity problem I guess.

Barca to take Tiago? Wednesday 14 November, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unsettled Juventus midfielder Tiago Mendes is being linked with a January move to Barcelona.

The former Chelsea man has failed to take to life in Turin since arriving from Lyon this summer in a move worth around £9m.

The Portuguese international was brought in to strengthen the spine of the side, but he has made just four appearances and spent protracted periods on the bench.

The 26-year-old has warned that he will leave the Old Lady if things don’t change before the New Year and it seems he may opt to ply his trade in La Liga.

According to Spain’s TV3 channel, Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard is considering a swoop as the Bluagranas look for someone to play the Edgar Davids role.

Davids joined the Catalan giants in 2004 and played a crucial role in their rise to glory and TV3 suggests that Rijkaard sees Tiago as a similar player.

It is believed that Barca would be happy to pay somewhere in the region of £7m to spare Juve’s blushes, but a loan deal remains a possibility.

haha beat ya..

Another bullshit story.. why swap clubs with ultimately the same result, sitting on a bench... he would get twice as much time here than at Barca anyway he is starting to hit his straps here at Juve
