Ranieri says that Almiron or Nocerino are better in training
Tiago says that he's doing his best but he doesnt play

Well if Ranieri lets Tiago start a single game, we'll know who's right

It looks like that Almiron isn't that much better, because he play only 10 minutes per game or sit the hole match. But on the other hand I think that Sali must be on of the best in training, because he plays for 90 minutes and he didn't show anything special in the game. IMO the same situation must be with Molinaro. We should try with Crscito in the LB.

to be fair to raneri nocerino and zanetti have really stepped up. I don't think anyone expected them both to play this well. Anyways, no neddy for the napoli match so maybe well see a 4-3-3 with nocerino, zanetti and tiago in the midfield. Although raneri seems to prefer almiron.

uea u're right Zanetti and Nocerino have performed really well so there is no basis for them to be dropped for bigger money signings...their time will come they just need to be patient

Yesterday was supposedd to be Tiago's chance, as Genoa isn't as powerful as Napoli or Inter, I think Ranieri could have started him, but Tiago's statements blew it

Now I dont think he'll start against Napoli in Napoli, or Inter

This thread is laced with inane comments. If some of you think Tiago is worthless and a flop, you obviously have no clue what you're talking about. He hasn't even been given the chance to play, so either admit that we cannot call him a flop and place some blame on Ranieri for this debacle or kindly STFU.
Either blame ranieri or stfu.
I dont want anyone to come out & say that Tiago was poor.
Until he is given a fucken chance, stop slaming him.
After the Geanoa game,I think that Tiago's days in Juve are over,he didnt even played him as a sub & preferred Almiron.

Well it's easy to say that Ranieri is dumb because he doesn't play Tiago. Do you guys really think Ranieri doesn't play him for the sake of it?

Nocerino and Zanetti are doing good. Thus CR, acting for the team, prefers to play them, as he feels they're the best choice for CM.
And it seems Tiago isn't that impressive on training. If he was he would leave Ranieri no choice but play him.

And people saying that he was our biggest transfer so he must play:
The money we spent on him is spent, so forget about that. Now he's just a player in the squad, and we don't want him selected over other (in form) players just because we paid more for him, do we?

Economist would call it a sunk cost. If you go to the cinema and after thierty minutes you realise that the film is terrible, what would you do? Stay there and waste another hour and a half 'because you paid for it', or leave and do something more useful (with a chance of selling your ticket for a small price)?

That doesn't mean I want Tiago to be sold, not before he's given a chance to prove himself, but there's no point in playing him just because of his price.

With Nedved being suspended for the next game (and probably more) and neither Camo nor Marchionni fully back yet, I think/hope/wish to see Tiago being played at a more attacking position, in front of Nocerino-Zanetti maybe?
