Looks like he's going on loan to Atletico Madrid, 500,000 with no option to buy

:boh:
What?? So this is the resolution to solve his wages issue, they can have him with lower fee (on loan) so Atletico can pay his wage.. Is there Stuttgart interest before, we really need to sell him, no loan because his contract will be expired..

Loaning him for 500k is even worse than selling him for even like 2m or 3m..

Woah

Seriously, in Marotta's case I'll pay those 5m eur for his wages and keep him out of the pitch for the entire season. This is too much.
We should play hard with him. He either accepts a pay cut with Atletico and we sell him for 4-5m eur this summer, or he spends a whole year out of football, which will result with less interest for him next summer and much lower wages.

What the hell? Couldn't we just use him to get anything? We could have traded him for any type of younger player or something like that.

Ranieri and Secco's fault. They bought a player they had no clue how to use.

The Portuguese know, Chelsea knew, Lyon knew, but we didn't. Which isn't surprising.

Now we can't undo our errors. Not surprising.

It doesn't make sense to loan him out, it's just doing a huge favour to Atlético.
It certainly would be a huge favor. It makes sense though, because I heard that in exchange for loaning Tiago to Athletico, we get first option on Aguero.

:shifty:
:dielaugh:

Seriously though, I wish that we were in a better position financially, so we could bury this guy in the stands. So frustrated with this player.

well lets put it in this way.we had a deal with atletico for 4,5mln.
but they refused to give 2,8per season to tiago.

let's say, that they could only offer 2mln for a 3year contract 2x3=6+4,5=10,5MLN.that's the best offer atletico could do.

why didnt we lower our demands to,lets say, 2mln so that atletico could give tiago his 2,8 contract.2,8x3=~8,5+2=10,5.

well,it's definitely better that gaining 0,5 from a loan with no option to buy.
