So you seriously want to take the chance of Tiago excelling with a manager that he's already done well under? At Inter of all clubs?

I mean, we would be setting ourselves up for a disaster here. I've had nightmares of giving Tiago to Inter and having him play well against us on many occasions. Seriously, I knew something like this would happen as soon as Mourinho took charge at Inter.

I do NOT want to pull an Inter and let them make up for Cannavaro deal.
I totally see what you are saying man. But Mourinho sold Tiago once before.. it is not like he is Ronaldinho. I think we have more to gain then we have to lose. Tiago prob would not even get too many games once inter recover some of their starters.

vieira ends up playing 15 games a season, so how wouldn't tiago get playing time?

Giving the best coach in serie a another option in the midfield isn't the smartest idea we've ever had. Especially since tiago played well under him before.

We have nearly ruined his career and now we are considering to send him to Inter where he can reunite with Mourinho.

This will certainly give Tiago a huge motivation to prove us wrong, I'm against this deal, they can have Almiron if they like.

Good points on both ends. Mourinho didnt want to let go of Tiago, but when Essein came in their was simply no room for him and In fact Tiago was part of the Essien transfer.

But the situation is equal on both ends. Ranieri admires stankovic while Mourinho has had success with tiago. Inter has as much to lose and in the end the deal is to satisfy both managers requests.

Overall, an in-form Stankovic is better then an in-form Tiago.

I say no for Tiago Stankovic swap

Sometimes i still think Tiago has quality and potential looking how he played in Chelsea and especially in Lyon..
Lyon plays more effective football when Tiago there compare to now
So if Tiago can't success in Juve and and success in Inter under Mourinho, there still a chance

I prefer we get money from Tiago transfer than Stankovic who we don't need him most... We can use the money from Almiron & Tiago transfer to buy another player like Zapata

But i don't know if there is any great offers to buy Tiago from any club??

On footballing terms, the swap is a good deal. But as Andy said we will be setting ourselves for an embarassing situation if Tiago succeeded in Inter and performed well against us. He's not gonna set the world on fire, as most likely he will be back up, but if he did good it will be bitter to see the player that flopped in Juve succeeds at Inter. We are the team that rejuvenates players' careers after being left out from their clubs(especially Inter), let's not lose that reputation.

Firstly Mourinho sold Tiago to get Essien...

Appart from that now. From what you have seen in today match, do you think that Stankovic is what is missing from our team?? What i saw today is Sissoko to be alone in the midfield. SIssoko having to defend and Sissoko having to dribble ant go forward to pass the ball. Momo was the only one that gave some movement in our team. Our midfield withought him would be very static. I want a fast player who can move well, dribble and pass the ball under pressure next to momo. This is what we need. I would like someone like VDV very much nest to momo. Momo can defend all alone and the same is for Poulsen too...

For what i said before i don't include our wings. Camo, Neddy Sali and Marco were good. But i think that we need something more, someone that can attack more like an AMC...

your description does fit perfectly on giovinco (even if this is not his primary position)
he is quick, can go around opponents easily and provide great passes for the forwards ... he ist just not defensivly oriented ... perhaps we could try a diamond with giovinco as trequartista against weak opponents where sissoko is enough to defend in midfield

It fits Marek Hamsik much more.

I agree with Sad Statue about the type of player we need in midfield....... or at least a type of player i'd like us to have in our midfield next to Sissoko.

But Hamsik play on left midfield in Napoli, I never seen him play in CM
VDV is better option as he plays on AMC in Hamburg too and his price won't be expensive

But for now Ranieri seems has 3 options as DM (Momo, Poulsen, Zanetti) and has 3 options as AM (Giovinco, Ekdal, Camo)
Camo play well as AM C like when we beat Inter 2-1 last season

So that's why Ranieri tries to play Camo next to Momo sometimes, and it works just fine. However, we can't play like this everytime so I guess the board is finding a guy who can fit into this position. Hamsik is a great choice but I don't know whether we can get him or not.

However, I'd the idea that transform Momo to become offensively and play Poulsen next to him. If that happens, our center will be both physically, dynamic and very solid but still good at attacking.

we can play camo as central midfielder as long as marchionni is not injuried ....
if he gets injuried camo will move to the wing and poulson in the center

i'd prefer camo on the wing and sissoko/zanetti/poulsen in the middle any time. Marchionni is, in my opinion, a backup for camo. We can't build our system with marchionni because he'll be injured for sure sooner or later. So i'd prefer keeping him benched for when camo is out. Although Camo has showed that he knows how to play in the middle, i still prefer him on the right side, because WHEN he moves to the middle, he plays the exact same position someone as giovinco would play.

I'm not dishing Marchionni but I don't think he'll start too many games this season, I for one wouldn't be ready to rely on him too much.. I like the look of a 3 man midfield of Camo, Poulsen & Momo with a trident up front, it may look a bit awkward but I think it would work, especially if Giovinco is somewhere in the trident
