so denco i am right about thuram , i did not see seina game but based on your openion - he kept on trying to protect the ball and losing it on numerous occasions
the same as in lazio game which costs us the goal , so thuram did not learn from his mistake and could cost us goals in the future.

Unfortunately I don't think that Thuram is good enough to start for Juve week in, week out anymore. Kovac should play more often and we definitely have to look to bring in someone younger like Barzagli or Gonzalo this summer.

But thuram also was terrible in his first comeback from injury game and was said that he we 100% in shape .. This is not an excuze that he had a bad day and made a mistake ............... i think that he is losing it

That is not the point, he played badly yes, but you should not open a new thread because of that, you could have criticised him in the match thread. There are far too many threads opened for silly reasons, if it was , say , a milestone, like he has played his 300th match, or something, i will understand, not to open a thread because so abad performance and say you hate him, thats uncalled for and its not worthy of a new thread. There is a thread of players you hate, why not post it there. I personally think if you are gonna open a thread on an individual, it should be to praise him or some sorta dedication fort the player's career, not to say you hate him. Wouldn't it have been better to open a thread asking if Thuram is worth playing centre back?

i have to say Thuram has looked like a liability recently, i was at the Siena match and he looked very shakey, with Cheillini and Cannavaro playing well to cover from his mistakes. I was really impressed with Gonzalo when i saw him play against Man Utd and from what i hear of Barzagli he would be great! We definatly need some younger legs at the back

I think that we dont need young players for defense :S defence in calcio is the most important position and youngsters are not going to fit in first team

so if thuram AND del piero dont start,
    who captains the side?
i think this could be a good time to develop a captain for the future.
id like it to be zambrotta.
it is zambrotta if thuram and del piero arent playing.....

Barzagli hasnn't impressed as much as last year. but we do need a young defender. I wonder how Massielo's progress is goin? or Gladstone ?
Kovac at the momment is good to rotate with Thuram but if sumthin happens to Canna, then I don't see a very solid defense.

But I do agree with sum people here. It is too harsh how we started this thread. He has done much more to compensate for his mistakes at the momment, and we STILL have the BEST DEFENSIVE RECORD and WE STILL DIDN"T LOSE the LAZIO match. So whats with overcriticising him?

Lets see how his form is when he returns from winter break. If he has 5-6 straight bad games then we can talk about Thuram past it.
