So I thank him for the great years as a Juventus player, and the many games I saw him play.

Basta
Well said

There is no way you simply disregard a lovely relationship of Lilian and Juve for SO many years, just simply because of a bad breakup (very vindictive and extremely childish attitude IMO), its a bad note, but doesnt erase everything at all.

I have very fond memories of him, and he is one of my all time favourite defenders (for example, if Montero was still around in Calciopoli, and left us because he felt betrayed, would everyone hate him and forget his great career with us?). I will allways cherish this memory for example:

One of the coolest goal celebrations ever

Never heard of it.

Only heard of the calciopoli related ones, about feeling betrayed etc, and IMO those players have all the right in the world to feel betrayed and be bit angry.

Double standards, nice.

So Thuram can say "Juventus who," but the fans can't blast the player for leaving when we could have used him. Strange.

Leaving when we could have used him? I can GURANTEE you that Thuram was more or less the first player the board wanted to dump. Wrong side of 30, and massive wages. They were packaging him in the Zambro deal just to dispose of him.

True, he was the one betrayed, let down, unsupported.

imo he wanted that change, barca was the best team in the world in that time...and thuram knew that he has only one...maximum two years to play at a world class level. I simply cannot accuse him.

Plus, what's with the "they have all the right to feel betrayed"???

Did we(fans) betrayed them?

Did Trezeguet, Del Piero, Buffon, Nedved, Camoranesi betrayed him?

Juventus turned them into what they're, and saying Juventus who makes me easily forget his contribution to the team and everything he gave.

I think he means the club management, noone else.

Juventus turned them into what they're, and saying Juventus who makes me easily forget his contribution to the team and everything he gave.
Well, not Thuram. He absolutely did not need Juventus to make a career for himself, in fact it was his "last stop" at his peak.

Thuram has always been an intelligent and caring person and I will never intentionally offend him, that's all I have got to say about the issue.
