Thanks for the advice from those that posted advice. It had been duly noted, i have spoken to a few people and apparently stationairy is a useful to take to give to children, is that right? Also i was planning on donating the spending money i had left at the end of my trip to a local charity or a school, is this a good idea or would it be better to get the money changed into sterling and donate to a charity in the uk that works in africa?
