I just dont know for certain if Motta lost the dressing room or not. That to me, is media speculation. If he did in fact lose the faith of the players I agree he should be let go. But to say a coach can't be stubborn about his ideas an force the players to play like he wants them to is not a bad thing at all. Gasperini is known for his-way-or-the-highway approach as well and star players were sold with Atalanta siding with their coach. So I am just saying it's a balance. We know Motta is a great coach, he proved he can create a fantastic team as he did with Bologna - the problem here is that it takes time and players that buy into that kind of football. Unfortunately for us, we made too many useless/wrong signings to have an impact in Mottas style of football. Was it a failure on Motta? Probably yes. But I will be so pissed when he takes over another team soon and proves again why his ideas a valid. We are back to day zero taking such a hard u turn on the playing philosophy and this is what's worrying me the most. Where are we going now? An even less experienced coach in Tudor and the relic Conte

Thats what happens if you set the bars too low. Club said target is top4 and he was just 1 point behind a top4 finish with an injury plagued and badly set up squad.
I hate his guts but he’s got a point. We lost the Juve identity long before he became coach here.
Also it shows a lack of planning - you can’t change 15 players and coach and philosophy….

Weve been pedalling this “4th place is our primary objective” rubbish for years now and look at where it’s gotten us.
We say the same shit every season, top 4 is our main objective, exactly what a fucking loser club like Arsenal would say and then wonder why we’ve sucked massively for the longest time.
Lowering our objectives and ambitions has manifested itself into a mediocre mindset that infests every area of the club - all the way from the management down to the coach and players. Self-fulfilling prophecy.

I dont hate this guy, but he simply did not deliver and should have been sacked months ago. The fact he stayed as long is not his fault. Juventus as a club needs to rediscover its identity. This starts from the top. As long as bunch of clerks and administrators are running this club, we will take a back seat. 5 years without competing for the title in a league as poor as Serie A, while beng the richest club is simply terrible.
Good riddance, nothing personal tbh, i’m sure he tried to do his best but was obviously out of his depth here…
Basically when you set a low bar and look for excuses from early on you’ll more often than not going to find yourself struggling to lead a team towards more than the minimum of objectives, while potentially missing out even on that due to not recognizing soon enough that you’ve allowed the standards to drop to unacceptable levels, which can be pinned on the management too, but more so on Motta’s stubborn attitude and inability to adapt or show any tactical flexibility towards changing the narrative.
