If Tudor couldn't help us make the 4th place doesn't mean sacking Motta last week is a wrong decision. Continue with the Fraud when you know it's 100% failure is blind. At least the management woke up and TRIED to change the coach when they know the results are bad and the dressing room has unresolved issues. Nobody expects Tudor too much, given the very limited time he has. Motta has almost the whole season and it's just embarrassment as everyone (who has eyes) has witnessed. The players told that the last training session was surreal because Motta kept forcing the same shit that we played against PSV, Empoli, Atalanta, Fiorentina. If something didn't work out, try something else. Don't be stubborn.
I just dont know for certain if Motta lost the dressing room or not. That to me, is media speculation. If he did in fact lose the faith of the players I agree he should be let go. But to say a coach can't be stubborn about his ideas an force the players to play like he wants them to is not a bad thing at all. Gasperini is known for his-way-or-the-highway approach as well and star players were sold with Atalanta siding with their coach. So I am just saying it's a balance. We know Motta is a great coach, he proved he can create a fantastic team as he did with Bologna - the problem here is that it takes time and players that buy into that kind of football. Unfortunately for us, we made too many useless/wrong signings to have an impact in Mottas style of football. Was it a failure on Motta? Probably yes. But I will be so pissed when he takes over another team soon and proves again why his ideas a valid. We are back to day zero taking such a hard u turn on the playing philosophy and this is what's worrying me the most. Where are we going now? An even less experienced coach in Tudor and the relic Conte

I mean, how many of the players said goodbye to him on social media? I have never seen something like this before. The man must have pissed off the entire squad.
When you dont get the results you want, I think its normal to question the approach. Probably the players had given up on his ideas. But should he then give up as well? I thin k thats a fair question. A more experienced coach would have adapted the tactics earlier and made it work. Perhaps.

Bologna got more points with the new coach than with Motta. Motta and 'great coach' can't be on the same sentence. The guy will never be successful at any big clubs. We can come back to this topic after 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 years to see who's right or wrong.

“I don't want to hear talk of failure: we were 1 point away from fourth place, the priority goal at the start of the season. Juventus had to give me time, even if it's true that the last 2 games were played badly. Never had an argument with Giuntoli, never! I'm disappointed because it didn't go as I hoped, especially in the Coppa Italia and the Champions League. I had a great relationship with all the players. I don't accept that we throw away all the work: with a new team mowed down by injuries we were about to reach our goal. I would change the choices made in the last 2 games. Koopmeiners will always do better, he was loaded with too much expectation due to his high cost. Yildiz? He will have a great future because, apart from his talent, he is a champion as a youngster too. Juventus must win trophies again: it hasn't happened for too many years, I think what we sow this year will remain. I say thank you to the fans for being close to me, even critically, but always with great love.”

Thats what happens if you set the bars too low. Club said target is top4 and he was just 1 point behind a top4 finish with an injury plagued and badly set up squad.

I hate his guts but he’s got a point. We lost the Juve identity long before he became coach here.

Also it shows a lack of planning - you can’t change 15 players and coach and philosophy….

Weve been pedalling this “4th place is our primary objective” rubbish for years now and look at where it’s gotten us.

We say the same shit every season, top 4 is our main objective, exactly what a fucking loser club like Arsenal would say and then wonder why we’ve sucked massively for the longest time.

Lowering our objectives and ambitions has manifested itself into a mediocre mindset that infests every area of the club - all the way from the management down to the coach and players. Self-fulfilling prophecy.

I dont hate this guy, but he simply did not deliver and should have been sacked months ago. The fact he stayed as long is not his fault. Juventus as a club needs to rediscover its identity. This starts from the top. As long as bunch of clerks and administrators are running this club, we will take a back seat. 5 years without competing for the title in a league as poor as Serie A, while beng the richest club is simply terrible.

Good riddance, nothing personal tbh, i’m sure he tried to do his best but was obviously out of his depth here…

Basically when you set a low bar and look for excuses from early on you’ll more often than not going to find yourself struggling to lead a team towards more than the minimum of objectives, while potentially missing out even on that due to not recognizing soon enough that you’ve allowed the standards to drop to unacceptable levels, which can be pinned on the management too, but more so on Motta’s stubborn attitude and inability to adapt or show any tactical flexibility towards changing the narrative.
