30 hours after Thiago's dismissal #Motta the deafening silence from the #Juventus players stands out. So far no messages or posts of farewell to the coach (except #Mbangula ) testifying to the poor feeling between Motta and his players…

man, I wonder how bad it got and what turned everyone against him like this

Hmmm...weird indeed.

I mean, he always played those who deserved it.

Scary because that's pretty much what union players have done on multiple occasions when their managers leave. Cold and heartless, fully distracted gen zeees

Which is what competent people do

Jokes aside, how does one manage to alienate an entire group of players to the point where only ONE wishes him good luck and farewell.

Can't wait for Danilo to retire and bring this up on a podcast. :baus:
Its clear he didnt know how to turn a blind eye to certain things, look at Dusan's interview about how its easier to play for Serbia, then he loses his place in the team for it, Gatti speaking out against Motta cost him his captaincy, similarly with Cambiaso also spoke up against Motta and he suddenly had a mystery 'injury' and was dropped for a while etc...

Honestly no wonder junktoli and Motta ended up having a falling out, they're both just as bad as each other.

I'm surprised McNuggets, the 60 Million Euro Dutch Traffic Cone, the 40 Million Euro Empanada, and Suckatelli haven't thanked him yet, considering he always played them.

Floyd Smelly the Shawerma Vendor should also be grateful - he'd never get minutes at any half decent club.

Such a fitting end…

Started with a 4:0 loss vs Nurnberg in preseason(@Amer used to always remind us of it but nobody took him serious lol) and probably it should have all culminated with the 4:0 loss to Atalanta to be in proper sync, too bad the board postponed it until the 3:0 vs Fiorentina, although i guess that ain’t too shabby either.

rabiot played with motta at psg and allegedly motta was kind of a father figure for young rabiot. many suggested that rabiot would love a reunion here at jj. rabiot ran as far as he could for much less money and no cl

during his tenure here, motta alienated at least the following players: danilo, gatti, yildiz, vlahovic, cambiaso, and probably luiz too. not to mention chiesa, huijsen et al. the fact that he wasn't on good terms with giuntoli isn't too telling, toli is a dickhead himself. but the fact that besides mbamgula, nobody even said goodbye within 24 hours speaks volumes

motta might have some good tactical ideas. last season's bologna was a good team to watch and it was a proof of his basic competence. this season though showed his weakness as a flexible coach and a problem solver. he might be ready in a few years but now he was completely out of his depth, especially as a human being. losing almost a complete squad is quite the achievement
