Is it?

Moving on from Allegri and hiring Motta was supposed to be "a step in the right direction."

Signing Koopmeiners, Thuram, and Luiz was supposed to be a "step in the right direction" to fixing our midfield.

At what point do you start to look at the bigger picture and realize this is far from just a coach problem. Or lack of talent/players underachieving problem.

There is no quick fix for the disaster that is this sinking ship.
Agreed. The current problem is an institutional one. The culture and leadership structure at the club needs to be fixed first and foremost. Its not a coincidence that these players come and flop, and that our primavera flops go on and revitalise their careers elsewhere.

Del Neri is still the worst manager in recent history. That was the lowest point Juventus achieved by far. I even had to live through a double humilitation by a shitty Polish team.

Motta is basically another Ferrara, Pirlo, Zaccheroni.

One thing is still disrespectful for me, going on holiday when the team is in such crisis.
Meanwhile Fabregas used that free time to visit RM headquarters to learn something. I don't think our coach should go Fabregas way, but he shouldn't be on holidays...

And by the way, why did we sack him when Allegri had three seasons to drag us down? I don't care about the losses that equated to 7-0, the dipshit that hired him spent 150M on useless mercenaries. David Luiz was never a serious player. Koopmeiners was a scam artist who benefited from Lookman and Ederson. These guys are the most shameful people in JJ's history, even if Motta is a Nerazzurritard.

What's your thoughts, do you think he has it? Can he become something special here or is he just good enough as a stop gap?

He is litterally just a decent stopgap, not much else. Temporary gigs of months or a season most of his career.

But he shown he hits the targets set for him before leaving/getting fired. 9th with Verona, 3rd with Marseille and CL spot, saved Udinese from relegation after he took over midway. Saved Lazio to good stable level after he took over from Sarri near end etc.

During Tuesday’s lunchtime meeting between the coach,Giuntoli and Scanavino, there was no initial plan for dismissal. However, Motta’s unconvincing responses and relaxed attitude led the club to reconsider, ultimately resulting in the drastic decision.

@Gazzetta_it
is Motta autistic or something? Not even a joke question, because he seems to have issues with communication

I keep forgetting about Del Neri.

Maybe I’ve been subconsciously trying to erase it from my memory. :boh:
Delneri showed even more than this idiot with a way worse squad. And Delneri was garbage.

Motta came here with huge hype, over €200m on players he specifically requested, with a better overall team than Delneri’s…and he also fell out with the entire team.

The most pointless coach in Juve history, never understood the point of hiring him, an elite year at a mediocre club and then becoming qualified to coach a contender and top team.
